Hi Everyone, I have started using ninite to distribute apps. I have come across an issue. If a computer is on the wired network it works. If it is on wireless network it doesn't work. It asks for a remote password. The exact same user and device was is used. Any ideas where I can start

Hi I Have office 365 syncing with the ad every hour windows 7 Outlook 2010 Outlook randomaly dc and then connects this might occur 30 - 50times and hour In troubleshooting I have disabled the firewall disabled forefront antivirus used various laptops used 2 privately owned laptops that were only using the internet connection and outlook continuly drops out I then installed outlook on 3 virtual servers 2008 r2 and 2008 outlook 2010 and outlook is stable on thoes 3 servers please any suggestions

Hi all, The computers in two labs are randomly losing their printers The other 2 labs are fine Windows 7 2008 R2 Using GP to deploy printers more info The print spooler appears to stop and even after restarting is on the local machine it wont pick up the gp for the printers I am then able to manual to then add the printers any ideas please

Help new to a school I currently have a Moodle site available for external and internal use. Which is currently working On a seperate server I installed iis, sql and a reporting package. Users are able to type the url eg //server3\reports and log in When i copied the url to the moodle page for staff to log in it only allows them to log in from school We are using server 2008 r2 Sql server 2008 iis 6 Can someone direct me in the right direction please

Hi All, I have recently being learning about group policy and software installtions. As I am still learning I may need a few extra steps explained to me. I would like to deploy movie maker live as an MSI. I would like to disable items not needed in running Movie Maker and also be able to save to a shared drive. Thank you

I have 2 domains everything has been working well for months untill recently trust is able to be verified server1 and server 2 are able to resolve all name clients on server 2 are unable to resolve short names the clients on dom2 are not able to resolve short name when you type the full name in it works server1 = shortname server1.domain.edu this will work

HI ALL, I RECENTLY STARTED WORK AT A SCHOOL I AM STILL TRYING TO LEARN THE ROPES. THE PREVIOUS NETWORK ADMIN USED STATIC IP ADDRESS FOR EVERYTHING. i HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED A DHCP AND IT IS WORKING I ALSO CONFIGURED A SECONDARY DNS WORKING AS WELL. ALL NEW CONECTIONS WORK. I NEED TO CHANGE THE OTHER 500 COMPUTERS. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME CHANGE THE SECONDARY DNS ON ALL MACHINES OR SOMEONE HELP ME WITH A SCRIPT THAT WILL CHANGE SETTING TO USE DHCP

Hi everyone, I have an issue when students try and access the student drive at the same time eg 25 students \ the computers freeze sometimes and sometimes the thumbnails of photos wont appear. What do i need to do to enable 25 students to access the same share at the same time. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, I am very new Atm I have 1 server 2003 that does everything i have 800 users I have set up an additional 2 servers with 2008 Can anyone point me in the right direction In a previous forum it was suggested I have server1 data ad dhcp dns print wus server 2 replicate ad and dhcp server 3 ad How do i replicate ad Is there away that i could have a an exact copy of a server including all users data incase a server crashes or is stolen any info would be much appreciated

Hi Current set up Server 2003 Proxy Server which also controls wireless authentication Webserver (intranet) No extra student data will be added to server The issue will be at 9.00 am when the netbook users all try and log on at the same time Do you suggest 2 extra domain controllers and a SAN

Hi All We will be adding 300 netbooks to our network bringing our total number 600 Currently I have 1 server 2003 I am concerned log on times will increase Does anyone have any suggestions Do I purchase additional servers If so what service controls the logon authentication Thanks any ideas would be much appreciated
