    E3 2014

Sony's offical UStream was ! Noticed in the comments someone mentioned GameSpot. Went over there and their stream was perfect! Gram Fandango? I might look into my PS1 play list and see if I can rediscover it. Certainly little else announce (other than all the games we were waiting on this year are now coming out next year!?!). Insider looked good though. Stole the MS show IMHO. Hopefully it's dabute on XB1 won't be too long before other platforms
  2. What year is this? 2013 or 2014? I feel like I'm in groundhog day. Anyway - GTA:V being released at the end of the year (again): GTA 5 is coming to PS4 this autumn • Eurogamer.net And yes, the PC Disaster Race can play it too
  3. That's perfect Ben. A.C.Leigh are one of two I've already found (I think you recommended them last time I looked into this). Will look into Surelock Security East. Sorry if the description in the OP is misleading. I am actually locking at MiFare locks but tried to give a more generic description. My bad.

God I'm tired, why did I get up and watch the Sony conference?
  5. I've done this the past couple of years. This year I said no. To be honest I struggle. We hit a quiet spell when work experience comes. Year 11's have gone, Year 10's are out on work experience. Everybodies counting the days to the 6 week break. Aside from making network cables and starring at an empty helpdesk there's not much else to get them to do.
  6. Hi, I need to get atleast three quotes for electronic swipe card door locks. I've got two companies, one local and one in Oxford, but am struggling to find more. Anyone got any recommendations for a company who can supply and fit these? Thanks
  7. Start with end users needs. Are they being met? Is there any improvements you can see in the way they are being met? Is there anything end users would like that you don't currently support? For example, Our ICT suites are oversubscribed - 95% in use. To combat this I've suggested looking at bookable laptop trollies. Another example would be teachers asking for visulisers. I've suggested we standardise the teachers workspace, same brand IWB's everywhere, same controls and sockets on the wall, visualisers with every machine, etc. Media have a couple of PCs, Art a couple of PCs, Music half a suite. I've suggested replacing them and having one suite of Apples Macs for the three to share.

    World Cup!

Live TV - how quaint I'd be bored too if I knew what was happening...
  9. My cusion is lead singer for a death metal group called "Consecration", the do a song called "Gut the Priest"... (not my cup of tea).
  10. Just realised it was "Like A Prayer" not "Pappa Don't Preach" that I was thinking of with a contriversial music video - grey matter not what it used to be Still a Madonna medley for RE?
  11. God Shuffled His Feet - Crash Test Dummies There Goes God - Crowded House (love R.E.M. - but can think of better "religious" songs) or the contriversial Pappa Don't Preach by Madonna? (music video is a must for this thought!)
  12. Alas, it's a been there done that - though not with a Pi. Classic Xbox is the place to go for retro emulation. £15-£20 for the console, £5-10 for Splinter Cell, £40-50 for a hard drive. Can point to free instructions if need be.
  13. Is he the one with Funny Feet?
  14. English - , The Bee Gees Maths - Murder by Numbers, The Police Science - , Coldplay Art - , The Brook Brothers Food - Eat It, Weird Al Textiles - Material Girl, Madonna Geography - , R.E.M. MFL - , Queen History - , Simply Red ICT - Computer Song, Jim Noir Music - I Can Hear Music, The Beach Boys PE - , Spencer Davies Group RE - , Toad The Wet Sprocket Resistant Materials - , Talking Heads
  15. You don't? It's a serious matter! The fuzz could've been needed to respond to a real emergancy like - a milk maid stuck in a haunted house. (we should really stop now!)
  16. Gawd what have I started? You might say I lit a Rocket under this thread. You've all made a meal of these puns - a Feast even.
  17. Aw, don't be like that - I've got another 99...(or 999 as the case may be )
  18. The attending officer was later heard to comment he thought the womans complaint was a little "flakey"
  19. Wow! I'm sure I discovered that book (among many others) in my local library when I was about 10/11. On a similar note this is very interesting on BBC iPlayer... BBC iPlayer - Horizon - 1977-1978: Now The Chips Are Down
  20. I used to have a couple of 5 1/4" disks to use with the schools BBC Micro's when I was about 8 or 9. Or better still (from my High School days)... You had to eject the disk and turn it over to read the other side!!!
  21. AFAIR, the Amiga formats single sided 880k. You can use DSHD disks but it will only format/use one side. I'm sure I did this loads on my A600/A1200 back in the day. Also remember sellotaping over the right protect hole to re-use unwanted cover mount disks
  22. Lol, yes, it's a good game! As I said before gameplay is closest to Sleeping Dogs if you've played that. Graphics aren't spectacular (although there are moments of beauty driving around). The hacking works very well and really is the core of the game. That said, it really is the AI and 1v1 multiplayer that makes it. In fact things like the res and frame rate are perfectly understandable when you see both of these in action. Oh, and Spider Tank!
  23. 'Tis good new indeed. Don't have a vita, so it's 4 games per month for me. Excellent value. Actually starting a Retrogaming project after I've completed Watch_Dogs so I'll be bowing out of the generation for a while. Fingers crossed half the games I'm looking forward to this gen would have made it through PS+ by the time I catch up, or are on sale @X-13, don't think I'll get chance today. But I may see if I can get far enough through the game on my US account tomorrow and test the multiplayer without Plus - just for fits and giggles
  24. Honestly, given the AI and Multiplayer, I can forgive this game a lot in the graphics department. I'd hate to play this on a last gen console. Not quickly/easily. I don't have Plus on my US account, but I'd have to start a new game and get past all the tutorial crap to test. My UK account, which I play all games on, is tied to Plus until the middle of next year (I think). Besides, who'd buy a PS4 without Plus? Crazy, the games on IGC each month are worth more than the £50 per year. And since so little as been released AAA wise, you need PS+ to have something to play on the machine!
  25. I have physical with Hyper-V because of the host servers reliance on AD. You don't have that problem with VMWare. I'd have them all virtual personally. The only thing to remember with virtual DC's is not to snapshot or backup the VDMX. Backup the domain controllers system state as normal, just like a physical DC.
