I did an FdSc in Networked Systems Administration, and some other edugeekers did the same thing at Lancs Uni; I found it to be a really good course, as it was aimed at NM's / technicians in school. Is there anything like that in Somerset?

seems a waste of Office 2007 to "lower" it to 2003, as some of the more exotic features won't work (can't be edited) on 2003 .doc format

I don't think 2 years experience, at your age, is enough to warrant a NM position. Having said that however, schools don't appreciate what it means to be an NM so you might get lucky, but I'm sure there are people out there with more experience and qualifications to back up the experience. Perhaps you should consider going to Uni to get a degree in something IT related, that would open up far more opportunities for you. Just my opinion!
