I would have thought they would have a Windows and Linux Server, especially dealing with school and the wide range of skillsets ;p That said i haven't got a windows server yet, not had much demand for it though hehe

In one of the classrooms a few months ago a student said to the teacher: "Sir my computers froze, is it because the windows open?" Could have died laughing tbh

Our school site uses a couple of GB each month, if you've just started out with a website for your school I imagine it will take some time to get 'established' so 30GB will be more than enough! ;p

Isn't reason 0 something to do with the user not having permission to install software? have you tried it logged on as admin to the machine?

TBH, since when has any manufacturer's focus been on education - their in business to make money and get as many people as they can to buy them, IMO for the small amount of schools that can actually justify/afford Apple products it's not worth apple focusing on that market. The prices aint all that bad considering on the £1200 one there is a 24" screen and it comes with 4GB Ram as standard. Quad core iMac's would have been awesome but hey ho, im not all that dissapointed.
