Hi I am in the process of designing our new VLE moving away from Moodle and moving to SharePoint, however I want to make sure I use the right fit template when creating the new site collection, as I have the choice between Collaboration and Enterprise and drilling down within those I have further choices, I think the option to choose would be [Enterprise] - Team Site - SharePoint Online configuration or should it be [Collaboration] - Team Site (classic experience). Apologies if this isn't the right place to put this but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Kirsty

Moodle Error Msges LMS's API Implementation
princessbucki replied to princessbucki's topic in Virtual Learning Platforms
Hi thanks for your help. Yes it is LiveText, yes we do have permission and it is the VLE version that I have on CD. I have just tried loading it as a SCORM activity but it comes up with required parameter (id) was missing - which I should think is some thing to do with the fact that the zipped SCORM files are larger than 16mb which is our limit. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm in my infancy of learning about and looking after Moodle and currently I'm finding it all very frustrating thank you -
I’m new to Moodle so any help would be much appreciated. I had been asked to add the contents of an English resource (LiveText) CD to Moodle. To do this I dumped the contents of the CD on the Moodle Server and then created a web link to the location. It opens up, however, error messages appear (ATTACHED)error.doc, click OK on the first one and then second error appears and so on through to the last error message. I’ve tried looking these error messages up without much success. Help please

A colleague is working on an Excel spreadsheet for Target GCSE grades, she has formulas for most things, however, we really need to see if there is a formula for the time taking bit! Each Grade in columns C through to Z are worth a certain amount of points, (A1=58; A= 52; B=46; C=40; D=34;E=28;F=22;G=16 which is the GCSE point scoring system) column AG is the total scored for all the GCSEs taken – for example Student 2 scored 372, he took 9 GCSE, but we want the score for the top 8 grades, so we subtract the lowest GCSE score which is ‘D’ worth 34 points this is shown in column AH. Total Points score subtract AF-2 should equal Total Points Score (Best 8) *Could a formula be created to work out the score of the bottom GCSE grades, ie: if they took 10 GCSE’s you would want a formula to subtract the lowest 2 grade scores and insert the result in column AH. *Could a formula be created to subtract the AF-2 from the Total Points Scored? I’m afraid I’ve never had to work out such complicated formula’s but if someone can help that would be wonderful Oh and if you don't read this until even months later and you think you can help, please reply, because it would just be wonderful to have the formula for future GCSE Gradesheets. Thank you Kirsty KPformula.xls

Hi One of my printers has stopped printing some of its fonts, for example if I do a document and include the following fonts: Times New Roman, Calibri, Tahoma, Arial, Gill Sans MT and Bradley, only Times New Roman, Tahoma and Arial will print out. I've been tearing my hair about over this problem for the last week and have done many searches but haven't managed to find a solution. Has anyone else come across this? Any help/advice would be very gratefully received. Cheers Kirsty

Hi sorry if someone has already posted this, but I couldn't find it! The Principal and his secretary use a HP LaserJet 2605dn printer. The secretary was complaining that the coloured text was printing blurry for both of them. I Calibrated the colour using the web front end roughly 5 times and for the secretary it is now printing perfectly. However, the principal is still having problems with the coloured text being blurry. I've searched on line and can't find anything of real use, they all say about calibrating - but I've done that. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

THANK YOU Mac Shinobi - I've just got my common sense back and checked the Orange website! I think I will only get the 8GB one as I have an iPod Classic which I'm not going to part with so it will be mainly apps that I'll install - does anyone know if I should be thinking differently about which size iPhone I should get? cheers
-
Does anyone know when the iPhone is ACTUALLY going to be available from Orange, I'm due for an upgrade now, but want to hold out for the iPhone... the wait is killing me though!

my contract is up for renewal with Orange now and I so want an iPhone, but can I really wait until Christmas
