I have a question about who is using parents app lite. There could be three addresses in SIMS Contact 1, Contact 2 and student address. When using the app for data checking what does C1 and C2 see the students home address? Or can they only update it? I am just thinking if you had a situation where C1 does not want C2 to know where they live but the student lives at that address but they have a right to update the student address. Or is a court order likely to have removed parental responsibility in this situation. Has anyone else got any key pointer about the SIMS parent app lite?

I would have said it would be iPads's or an android tablet. If we are currently getting iPad's as a tablet device for else where would it be reasonable to say that this is the tablet device. Ok I see that most stuff can now be save into sharepoint but certain legacy applications need a drive letter to save documents.

What did you do with files that can't be save in sharepoint? Staff will still need to use file Explorer front end while we transition to share point. Also how did you do file permissions in your migration?

Which is rubbish for a shared environment? How does it replace share drive if the user has to do something does it work as part of UE-V to put the setting in there?

I am not sure what to do what it the best way for exams to create logon. We have a number of student who are allowed to Word process with Wordpad during exams the old system was that they used a USB drive to save files and one account. Should I be creating a separate account for each exam or keep going with the old system? If creating logons should I use the session details or the exams ones?

It almost worth asking the companies to all come back with designs based on storage spaces direct. I would also be tempted to go down to two DC two file servers for the whole network and put print on a separate machine.

I think the answer is too identical servers with storage spaces direct (server 2016) to create a hyper converged environment. Some how you might be able to get them to come back with this solution. It what I would now do with ICT direct hardware.

Grrrr sorted forgot that I had 1TB unallocated on storage so I grown the LUNs and restored the machine to the original location. I may yet move stuff round but it less of a pressing issue now.
