Just wanted to say if it would be of interest having Smoothwall present at one of the technical meetings (I know technical vendor presentations can be quite common) drop me a PM, more than happy to arrange something.

Are Nintendo considering a HD environment does anyone know? I remember when I had a Wii (context) I thought the max 540 output was no where near good enough coming from PS3/Xbox environment. I suppose that would be an easy re-issue of the console.

10 year life-span, music to my ears. i thought they'd have a PS4/Xbox720 out within 24 months....

yeah i think you are right it became the Savvy! funny to think that USP of phones back then would be "Vibrate Alerts" haha i remember now, class. wish i still had the thing, no idea what became of it.

eBay i would imagine as someone else has said. i remember my first RROD not long ago, bought the xbox on the friday (after converting from PS3), RROD by sunday. thankfully my 2nd one has been fine for 6 months now (touch wood)

heard they are doing a UFC game which could be fun. i think it's got miles more scope than a Wii just on titles alone, but at times i can barely be bothered to pick up an xbox pad let alone move around so probably not for me....had a wii which lasted a handful of goes before it collected dust for 6 months then went on eBay.

They've tried to go down the web based route using Steam i think, still rocking the DVD though... Could always give the demo a wizz Thomas with mighty Leeds you get a good 6 months play with it; but if you've not played for years it's changed quite a bit, sometimes like having a 2nd job. Missus irritation wise, generally high, but nothing a kinder egg cant solve. Gone back to my roots with Gateshead in the old Blue Square; you'll like this, took Davide Somma's agent's offer up to take him to the International Stadium for a season (he then sacked the agent 2 weeks into his deal!)...4 goals on his debut in FA Cup! Haha. Defo better than FM10 for the update of the 3D match engine if nothing else, loads of new animations on the players and therefore plays more realistically (for FM, i'm not talking FIFA though!). A few tweaks here and there with agents, conversations with players, new negotiating engine and the like...worth 20 notes if your a fan of the series. Just wish they could get licensing sorted as FMBase/sortitoutsi are a wretch to navigate at times.

i had totally forgot about mini-disc until now but do remember the pain of the battery life of my Sony one

how's everyone finding this version? as always addictive, but i must be losing my touch as struggling finding the right tactic for the first time years!

Haha, yeah we we're out for 9am and back in the office for 10.30am... Quite impressed, although i couldn't get up early enough for breakfast! Already looking forward to next years conference and a trip to Preston, that 1980s bar was awesome!
