Hi All I am having an issue with running a Powershell script with a countdown timer. both of the scripts work individually, but i cannot get them to run at the same time. Hi Norphy I think that will get a bit complicated as we deal with a lot of primary in the trust. I think it will make the logins too complicated for the younger users. We are going to be going down the one domain route. FN-GM I do like your idea but do you not have any duplicates in the trust? Can i ask how many site you have at the moment? I do not like the idea of having codes / numbers in the staff email addresses as i think it looks unprofessional? Darren

Hi We have started working with a large MAT and i was wondering if anyone had any naming conventions that work well? I am looking for Device and User naming conventions. The MAT have some schools with the same name so i am looking for ideas on how to overcome duplicates, especially on usernames. Thanks Darren

Hi I have setup a shared One Drive for Business account for our school to share media etc across our IOS devices as they are short on space. Does anyone know of any apps that can connect to this drive using the View only link so that students / teachers can add the songs etc to a queue and let them play? (like the music app) The drive is working great but my issue is that you can only click one song to play and not add them to a queue making teaching / learning very difficult as the song stops and does not continue to the next song in the list. Hi I work in a specialist school and i was wondering if there was a way to increase the desktop icons / menu's etc on out IT suite computers when a child logs on (or even perminatly) via our server and not manually at each computer. We used to drop the resolution but some of the applications we used changed it and it was becoming a but of a problem as each computer would have a different resolution. i would like the native resolution to stay and just have the icons etc change size Thanks Guys Darren

thanks guys its been bugging me for ages. we had a few of them come into my works (new) as they have been recycled and wondered what they were. they make a good long sync / charge cable

i have been looking for the past hour trying to find out what this cable is. i knownitsna apple sync and charge cable but what are those extra bits for. rj11 connector and some weirs metal switch thing? hope someone can advise as it is driving me crazy cheers

Hi Everyone, I am looking to replace out XE40's with a replacement projector. I have been recommended to get a Sanyo PLC-WL2500, However i cannot seem to find the mounting bracket that allows me to attach it to our current whiteboard setup so i was wondering if anyone can advise me on this as promethean dont seem to be much help. please see picture below

Hi mate I recently did the same upgrade but mine was a fresh server install. i have had no problem installing the printer on server 2008 64 bit. I downloaded the univeral print driver from the Hp website, Created a tcp/ip port, generic network card, and then pointed the installation to the downloaded driver. When i did that i downloaded the windows xp (32) driver from the website and and added the extra driver to the printer so that it would be available to the client machines. I then deployed using group policy and added as a shared printer on local laptops and it works a dream, no problems fount at all. Have you tried updating the firmware on the printer, there is a download available on the Hp website. Could there be problem with your network / server Hopefully i have shed some light on this matter by telling you how i did it. let me know how u get on, if i can be some more help let me know mate.
