How did the parents react to this policy? I think it's great. the ones that dont bring the phone to school are the ones who parents supports us. BUT you always get the random dickhead that thinks it dosent apply to them. bit like fizzy drinks, there not allowed to bring them to school, again if caught in possesion, we take the drink off them. Im a bugga for it, i put them on my window ledge for the sun to shine on. kids are allowed to collect the phones and fizzy drinks at end of the week.

we have given both staff and kids 10Mb here. no complaints yet

You can increase the number of connection in xp. I dont know what needs to be changed in ms registry but if you do a search in google for xp anti spy, this little registry changer gives you the option to do just that.
