My BIG problem with the current system, is the guy I want working for me locally is probably not of the same party that I want to run the country! I live in a strong tory constituency, and the current (and now reelected) MP has been doing it for a while, and is actually a nice guy. But I do not agree with a lot of the ideals of the tory party, so could not in fact vote for someone I like, on the grounds that his party are in my view moronic! So I have a choice of voting for a person who will potentially be good for me locally, while voting for a party that I don't agree with, or voting for someone who DOESN'T support my local interests, while voting for a party that I more agree with! Since when have us Brits ever done anything the easy way!

I made an ale a few years ago as a venture scout, a whole 5 gallon barrel of it. My dad used to do it annually for an xmas dinner we went to each year. The ale was drinkable, though not great by any measures, but damn was it strong stuff. Smuggled a bottle or two of it into 6th form too, went down a treat sat out on the field watching everyone else play sports!

Meeting people in RL and thinking "I really wish I could Pod the *****!" And bfbc2 is the first game in years that really brought me back to fps's, not been this hooked since DoD:S was released. Horrible when your trying to complete a degree assignment though, you get nothing done!

hung parliament, with lib dems taking a strong lead gets my vote, give them a chance to actually try running things (hard to say if they can run things till they try; this is the strongest party they've had in 50 years!) Then vote em fully in a few years if they don't screw things up too much.

I've never had a big problem with Gordon Brown. He ended up where he is largely on others actions, and compared to some of the 'others' over the last 20 or so years, he's not that bad. We just see too much of him because of how much the media has advanced in that time. Imagine if we saw so deeply into Tony in his early days, or John Major, or even dear old Maggie... In my opinion, politics should be either entirely behind "Closed doors" where the public don't have to worry about it, or fully in the public, where we have the majority vote on things. Not the way things are, where it's secretly exposed for all to see and none but a select few to decide, who mostly spend their time attempting to belittle eachother. And it's fair to say the old "Left, Right and Middle" don't really hold anymore, and I don't really see how the party/manifest structure still works. The parties either take a decade to enact what they propose, or never get round to it at all, and all it results in is posturing, gesturing, and attempting to create Black or White out of shades of Grey.

between 1:00 and 2:00 you get a brief glimpse of Noah's gf or similar in a reflection. You can also spot a reflection to show he isn't always fully clothed when he takes these photos (just pants ladies! Nothing too interesting!) People should really be more careful about what they post on the internets, or take more care about where they take photo's! But that wouldn't ever be much fun.

God knows the current politicians might have to learn to WORK together instead of aimlessly insulting eachother in a careful, "diplomatic" way. Yeah OK, even I admit that could never happen. Fact is, not one of them did what you asked for, and no matter how much they spin it, they're all still spades

Set a "Signup fee" for first incident with a machine, where you buy a new, specific hard drive for that client, or that specific machine. Keep a box stashed out of the way with all of them. Use laptop hard drives, they are a fraction of the size!

acquired BC2 at the weekend for the PC (the only platform to play FPS games on... muahaha! *Flame proof suit on*) Jack Brimstone won't be on much for the next week or two, have an assignment due, but as soon as that's done and dusted I will be tearing y'all up with my shotty assault till the end of time! Also anyone know can TS3 and TS2 run on the same machine? I sit on TS2 24/7 due to EvE, so need to be able to run both, since they failed to make TS3 backwards compatible.

They are all 0.8m-1m patch cables, and disappear down the sides. They all have at least 1ft of slack on them. Only thing applying strain is the weight of them all on the wall joists! Getting the cabinet reanchored, and a new cabinet put in, floor mounted to hold the switches, so that'll be a new day of patching

I've been eyeing up a new PC for some time now, But it'll set me back £1500-2000 to buy something properly new and shiny. My 'want' list as far as PC spec goes: Intel I7 930 USB3 + SATA 6GB support Mobo 12gb Memory ATi Radeon 5870 New Case (eyeing up the Antec 902) Corsair 750W PSU 128GB SSD 2TB 6GB SATA drive BR-RW Drive 2x 24" HDMI monitors, possibly 3d (though not sure they are worth it atm till ati bring out a 3d option, would rather spend the money on a decent monitor) I already have a 250GB, 2 identical 500GB, and a 1.5TB hard drive, so will recycle the 2x 500's into a raided pair, and keep the others to tick over the current PC as a media server, which I will turn full passive setup and stick in my bedroom or living room as a media PC!

How many edu-geek's could be tempted to plod along to this, maybe meet up for lunch/drinks etc at a nearby public house? Details of event: Collectormania Milton Keynes Just need to pick a day, a time, and some place/way of identifying the fellow geeks, since the place will essentially be full of geeks!

Just saw the cylcing shorts advertised O_O. Might pop down there and pickup some of the less 'revealing' items though, they look ok for the <2miles I need to do to work each day, but haven't yet managed. The school just invested in a new bike shed, but it's not been finished properly, so cannot use it yet Plus my dad nicked my extra-sized bike lock (since I have a full suspension Carerra Banshee with quick lock wheels, need to chain them both up). I work within walking distance of where my wife works, but it's slightly too far for me to walk home (about a 40 minute walk from work to home). It's under 10 minutes by car, or about 15-20 minutes max by bike.

Personally, when I've caught up on latest TV series like Big Bang and House, I go back and watch something old-school. I watched all of Stargate Atlantis last summer, I'm 2/3 of the way into Star Trek Voyager before House/Big Bang restarted up again. If you haven't watched the old one-shot series of Firefly (the tv series that spawned the movie Serenity) Then you really must. The wife recently introduced me to Babylon 5, which i've never ever watched before. I don't see the appeal of it myself yet, though I've been promised Season 2 onwards was much better. What I've seen of the first 3 episodes of S1, is poor acting, even worse Effects and visuals, and diabolical storylines.
