erm looks like someone is testing sam learning website tonight as i just tried again and it is back to normal. i think they will be changing the name soon..... Weird

it is now no longer called sam learning just noticed tonight https://www.pendalearning.com/ http://www.samlearning.com redirects to this. i will test the site tomorrow at school

Has anyone had issues with Sophos Antivirus breaking IE Shortcuts When a user double clicks on a IE Shortcut The print dialogue box comes up(helpful) The problem lies with Hips blocking After removing a registry key all goes back to normal(if you keed the key just ask) unfortunately when sophos updates the reg key is replaced (even more helpful) is anyone else having this issue. I know one other school is but i would like to know how widespread this issue is. Sophos have had this issue sent to"Global Support" but they have not got back to us yet. Thanks

i had issues with ibm imaging. acronis works for these machines but i did have to change the sata to compatability mode in the bios. Dont know if this helps.............

Going to ask a stupid question here but do you have security enabled on the wireless WEP etc I only get that messsage if i dont use security.

as you were upgrading Internet Explorer have you looked for new admin templates for the server just thought i would ask because i have made that mistake looking for a policy that does not exist due to the admin tempate being for an older version of Internet Explorer.

i thought it was just me thanks for that. that sort of delay is not acceptable just need a few more people to test What would be good would be including the time that you tested the site.

just what i thought my banking site is only secure once you try to log in. the site just seems to be hit and miss

unfortunately trace route are ping blocked by the isp so testing sites becomes harder and harder traced http activity on my pc at home using httpwatch and the results were http://www.samlearning.com (instant) the site redirects to https://samlearning.com this took 64 seconds to load then all the flash and java stuff loaded pretty much instantly. its the redirect to the https thats throwing things for me. tested again 5 mins later instant loading (servers should not be under load at 10:15pm) i will send a screen shot of the httpwatch activity to samlearning anyway If Any forum users have a second to test samlearning.com tomorrow during school hours it would be much appretiated.

Yes i know that i should contact the supplier but if i ring them up and say "your sites slow" it does not help them identify the problem, When i contact tech support for anything i like to do as many tests as possible so that i dont have to waste time talking to a script monkey. i would like to be prepared with other users experiences of the site.

Yes we do pay for the service which has been perfectly fine for a few years now but since the site has gone to https it is sometimes dog slow to load the main page once you are on the site all seems well. I need a real test under load which would be in school hours. if its not broke dont fix it.......

strange I have the latest flash and shockwave java and all the other plugins you need these days yet it is dog slow at home also did you have the site cached at all? Anyone Else The internet is picking on me im sure....................
