it can be a bit of a pain i agree but if you are stuck needing level 6 fire say you can just chuck any old common blades on all the characters to get past it its cumulative which helps (but there are a few points iirc where you need odd specific skills that only certain stoey blades have levelled up) tbh i never found it that annoying as there is always side stuff to do that will help (and if you just need to get affinity up just buy the cheapest foods you can and put all the blades you need to increase on 1 character and sit there and force feed them for a few mins lol)

on a client you can force kms activation (or an attempt at least) from the command prompt (as an admin) slmgr.vbs /ato and it should at least say why its not working. its also worth checking dns on your dns server(s) to see if there are any vlmsc records under your domain and _tcp that are pointed at the wrong server (either delete the incorrect records on the dns server(s) (though they may come back) or as a test run slmgr.vbs /skms kmsservername and try slmgr.vbs /ato again on a client) you can also run checks on the kms server itself to see what it thinks kms is doing a script like this will dump the relevant info to a text file that may help cscript.exe C:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs /dlv > "c:\Users\username\Desktop\kms.txt"

you can just power through the story but if you can take your time. fwiw i think my first completion time was about 100 hours or so (my 3rd im not going to count new game plus 2nd go) took a lotlonger because i was playing on hard more (dont do that at least unless its new game plus its a lot less fun lol) going to try and get further in xenoblade chronicles x over the holiday (finish friday) im enjoying it not as much as 2 but its still fun (and being able to jump ridiculously high is fun it almost feels like botw at times in that you can go anywhere but you cant climb so there are places i cant get to yet but i dont want to rush the story missions just so i can) I did the xbox year in review thing and this year spend 108 hours or so on my xbox over half thats nier automata (55 hours 27 in forza horizons 4 and the rest is odds and ends). ive actually spent almost as much on my wii-u (and expect that to go higher before im back to my xbox) currently at ~80 hours on that though the switch definitely wins on hours by quite a bit probably 5-600 hours lol

my evidence is only anecdotal but 2 of the schools i support (both built to the same plans so have the same hall) have hung a load of fabric cubes from the roof (id take a photo as im in one of them now but the halls full of parents etc) but it has markedly improved the acoustics in there at least to my ear. i assume they have some sort of sound deadening material inside but i dont know and cant get to them to look they are too high

have they signed into a microsoft account on it if so the recovery key may be stored there. i assume at some point they have re encrypted it if the key dosent match and if its connected to a ms account it prompts you to back the key up there iirc

up to a point but in an automated system you could run trains on the "wrong line" (so north on a southbound line etc) to get round some of those types of issues

you can run automated trains closer together though (yes needs more rolling stock) but you need less gaps between trains etc so in theory you increase the networks capacity even more if you automate points etc dont need the same safety margins as you do when people are involved and if there is a snarl up ahead speed can be altered so that stuffs still moving instead of stationary etc

it works for me manually (i decided i could just get it done or spend time automating it) what i have noticed though is it dosent seem to like running from a unc path so \\server\packages\minecraft fails BUT exactly the same file on c:\users\me\desktop\minecraft work. might be worth creating a sccm task that copies the install files to c:\minecraft and run it from there

well bought Horizon chase turbo ive only played it a bit and in handheld mode but it does play roughly like i remember old lotus turbo games playing so its fun but isnt going to keep you playing for ages that said its a good game to play for 5 mins while waiting for stuff etc. back to playing xenoblade chronicles 2 on my wii-u and now ive got a new battery for the pro controller (for anyone interested its a 3ds battery) and im playing with that its much better i can just set the tablet down at the side of me as a map screen (you need it to do certain things like teleport) but its actually a good user of a 2nd screen. still getting killed a lot because im lvl20 and i keep running into lvl60+ monsters but thats just the game (it was very frustrating when as part of an affinity quest id spent 10+ mins swimming to a new landmass and got wiped before finding a warp point though and had to redo it. ive also finally found someone with a healing art shame i think i was supposed to find they earlier and they are way underlevelled so i might have to do some grinding

it seems very coincidental this is just before the launch of smash a game that will be streamed loads giving them a lot of publicity

Horizon chase turbo on teh switch looks fun. Looks like outrun/lotus esprit turbo challenge might get that as a short game (all the ones currently in my queue are longer ones in at least 1 case 80+ hours lol)

fair enough i was about on par level wise with most of the elite 4 and if you can get a type advantage which when you eevee has a fire water and electric move starting with them means odds on you do and being normal not weak to much they arnt that hard (again with all the candies you get level is all but meaningless you could probably get enough candy playing to win with a level 1 mon if you really wanted to low levels i diddnt really catch more than one or 2 of most things i saw so most of the levels i have are from battling. i have multiple of odd pokemon mainly for some reason vulpix and i decided to try and get a shiny lickitung post game for some reason but they kept running away breaking the chain so i gave up

the elite 4 arnt that hard i think of my team i used stevee (the eevee) raichu and lapras and took them all down just had to use the odd ether /potion between rounds. Stevee while he may of been about 63 has stats way above that from eevee candies etc and all of them have speed stats that mean bar lapras and quick attack type priority moves they hit first hit hard and can tank iirc lapras has 250+ hp

ive just ordered a pixelbook as the hp i have been using as my main laptop can be a bit slow with some stuff and dosent have the greatest wifi/bluetooth in the world (if you are streaming say twitch and use a bluetooth speaker/keyboard etc the stream gets laggy)

well finished (probably as much as im going to) Pokemon lets go. i beat the elite 4 redid all the gyms and have a pokedex of about 115 or so. tried capturing mewtoo once but it was straight after the elite 4 and iirc my highest level was ~63 and my team isnt set up to deal with psychics so i ran out of time. since then ive put a dark move on Stevee and ground up to level 66 ish but just wasnt that interested. moved on to playing xenoblade chronicles x oh boy the menus the over abundance of badly (if at all) explained menus(and for some reason you can have different clothes on each arm and i never seem to find anything for the characters left arm but have lots of right sleeves lo). at one point i couldnt advance the story mission because i had taken on an affinity quest that in the end took me to an area i dont think im really supposed to be yet (i had to sneak past monsters with 2-3 times my level so they just kept 1 shotting me) and of course because i haddnt explored that section of the map and put down markers the respawn point was miles away. still enjoying it though and again the music is great im jsut glad that they have learned how to streamline it down to be more user friendly in 2 (and you can see that x is in some ways better than 1 as well) also bought shadow of the tomb raider and lego marvel superheroes 2 while they were 50% off so got them to play at some point

and i caught moltress this morning so i now have the set. all the other legendary mon needed a lot of ultra balls to catch moltress caught on the first try lol iirc my dex is at about 90 (and i have a few in pokemon park to pick up)

i think wind powered vehicles can go faster than the wind round them but cant remember how/why the plane example the aircraft would be doing effectively 0mph relative to the ground/air and would have the same aerodynamic lift that a stationary plane does net result wasted fuel you arnt going anywhere you can roughly test this by letting go of a paper plane it pretty much just falls as there is no forward motion to generate much lift

not really if you just have a sony store (and they do or did exist (theres one in leeds on google street view but i dont know how recent that is) and iirc were run by superfi) how would you ever compare an lg tv so a sony to a samsung? id agree to a degree about inventory you want a showroom not a shop so i want that one and it gets delivered ideally the same day

well i found the gym i was missing and boy is Sabrina's gym trippy now lol got to the islands and i now have 2 of the 3 legendary birds (articuno and zapdos) word of warning the electric plant you might want a rock type as the trained in there all but wiped me out i was down to just venasaur tip when trying to capture legendaries do it in handheld mode its a lot easier as you can aim properly rather than just hoping the motion controls pick it up right lol
