  1. Thank you - very helpful!
  2. I think (if you are a google school) you can push it out from admin.google.com Devices > Chrome > Apps + Extensions, then go to users and select the OU with the students in. Then there should be a + button on there to add extension from URL, and make sure its on force install and users unable to uninstall. Not something I'm particularly knowledgeful in, but hope it helps a little! - - - Updated - - - Or as Mavhc says!
  3. Not sure if this is any good for you? EPUBReader - Chrome Web Store
  4. Just to add to this, you can automate reports with the SIMS command reporter tool, which saves running it manually every day. If you are interested I can send you over the information!
  5. Thanks for the quick reply, yeah. Same issue. Not sure what could be stopping it at this point, all of our other devices go through absolutely fine!
  6. Hey all, Using Windows 11 Education N and unable to install the Media Feature Pack to use the camera and other dependencies on a user's laptop. Normally, this is an easy fix by going into 'optional features' and installing that way, however when attempting to this on this users laptop I get the message Couldn't Add, when usually it installs right away. I've attempted many things, windows updates, system file checker command, attempting to install with DISM, but none of it works. Specifically with DISM I get the message: "Error: 1168 Element not found." I then run DISM /Online /Get-Capabilities | findstr "Media.MediaFeaturePack" which returns with an identifier, which tells me that the feature is available but not installed. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated! Thanks Jay
  7. Thank you Ross, I will chase them up again
  8. Yes, both directly into motherboard - strange that it's happening regardless if there is 1 or 2 displays connected - and only on the one selected as main monitor. Thank you though!
  9. Hi All, About a year ago we replaced SLT PC's with the slightly more powerful Zoostorm PC's. They seem to work great, however there is a persistent issue we just can't get to the root cause of. Regardless of if they are using 1 monitor or 2, the monitor that is set as 'main monitor' in display settings will black out every so often for a couple of seconds. We have checked absolutely everything we can think of - refresh rates, downloaded new drivers inc. AMD Adrenalin. The issue is happening regardless of monitor brand, size, resolution, display connection (hdmi or vga) and I am at a loss! I have sent a few emails to Zoostorms support to no real achievement, they suggested the same things we had already tried. Any ideas or suggestions I would be extremely grateful for, or even to hear that anyone else has experienced this! Jay
  10. Hi all, I've had a look in report designer, but I can seem to find anywhere to save my selections from the attached image. I'm using the command reporter tool to automatically pull reports on a schedule, so I can edit the parameter file, but before I do that for ease of use does anyone know of a way to retain my selections in the 'action taken' box without having to manually go through and select each time? Thanks Jay
  11. Must work at the same place!
  12. Yeah, sounds about right - I was just looking at it and thought it was vague. Not much I can do in that case unfortunately then!
  13. Neither does anything unfortunately , good ideas though, something I'd not considered! This is the message and they aren't readable in the reading pane either - but subject line etc. is there...
  14. A number of users (but not all, strangely) reported that using the app version of Outlook, messages were not coming through since Friday, even though they knew they knew they were receiving emails because they were coming through both on the web version and on their phone. I managed a workaround, which was to disable 'Use Cached Exchange Mode' so that they were able to receive emails through the app version again. However, now the same people are getting the error message 'Sorry, we're having trouble opening this item. This could be temporary. but if you see it again you might want to restart Outlook. Unknown Error,' when trying to open certain emails. I am at a loss - I was hoping this was a microsoft issue and it would resolve itself over the weekend, as when I try and access the admin centre I get a white screen, but coming in this morning the issue persists! I have tried: restarting outlook itself, restarting the PC, reinstalling outlook in one case, readding profiles, deleting cache through %localappdata%MicrosoftOutlookRoamCache All to no avail, any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated! I can find absolutely nothing online about this - I feel like we are the only people in the world with this issue Thanks Jay
  15. Thanks - will check it out! It's nice to explore all options.
  16. Hi all, I am fairly new to power automate, and I am in the process of automating SIMS reports using command reporter, which is going fine. I can now pull these reports automatically which saves the Data Manager manually pulling them which saves a lot of time, but I want to use Power Automate to pick up the files from where they save locally, and put them in the Data managers OneDrive, so they are easily shareable - is this possible? Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Jay
  17. Thanks, it's definitely something to consider.

    Media Pack

It's a requirement for the webcam feature to work, apparently. Message similar to below, but Windows 11 version
  19. Hi, As the title says - edge on one particular machine is running unusably slow. Every other browser seems absolutely fine, CPU is running as you'd expect so no extra resources being used. Nothing filtering related and the machine itself works absolutely fine outside of this... any one else experiencing this lately?

    Media Pack

Hi all, A quick question - why is the Media Pack not installed automatically on Windows 11 Enterprise? As far as I know this wasn't an issue on W10? The only semi reliable way we've found of getting it through, is with a DISM command, but even that rarely goes through the first time, so time is spent trying to force it through begrudgingly after a reimage etc. Long story short, does anyone know a pain-free way of installing this without a DISM command or going thorugh optional features?
