Had a similar problem a few years ago with Smartboards, If you drew a straight line it resulted in an ECG type spikes all along it. Found that if the metal fixing brackets that were screwed into the wall were isolated from the wall & screw using plastic washers then the spiking stopped. Might help for the Prometheans?

Thanks Hawkeyez. This worked for me too.

Awhile ago I took a brief look at the Serif starter version of MoviePlus. It looks good and runs well, but cant really remember if it had more features than moviemaker though. Might be worth taking a look at. As its free it doesnt support all video codecs. Think its £5 per pc for the codec pack. Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition (Free)

Yep, I too would draw a straight line then rotate with Free Tranform as well. If you have the Info panel (F8) open it will display the angle as you rotate.

Went the same way as you with the the Canon's but had the problem of the poor sound quality and now looking at getting more Flip cameras as they are better. We dont use the software that comes with the Flips just use them like external device and copy the files acreoss when needed. -

Ive had this problem with 2 or 3 kids this over the year, but no solution. The files which they say has lost all its data is completley empty, not cuorrupted, all I can think of is that they have saved a blank file over their old file or they've some how cleared all their work. I cant replicate the problem and as it only seems to affect a few kids I recover their file from the previous nights backup.

We standardised all our printers with HP Laserjet 1320n's but HP decided to stop the model and bring out a new one with a different toner cartridge. Yippee!!

Magicnet does not do what is says on the tin. Weve got 2 samsungs with magicnet, tried sending a powerpoint to both, it worked fine for 10minutes but after a while it stopped displaying images within the file. As for html support it was even worse. I created a web page with a scrolling marquee and images but it had trouble with the marquee and pages kept coming up with dead links. The scheduling part of magicnet was not user friendly and needs to be on a server or a machine left on to run reliably. Spoke to someone at Samsung and he indirectly admittted it was poor with html. Ended up using 2 small PC's behind the screens running Sedao ImageFlyer software, didnt want this software but it was bought managed to get it to display images, html, rss, video.

Using HTML to force web page to open maximized

I use this. It opens a page in fullerscreen with no toolbars. I only use it on the intranet to pop up the Internet Policy for the kiddies to read. It doesnt work properly with firefox though. window.open("page_to_open.htm","fs","fullscreen=yes") -
Ive got 2 old PIII Travelmates. About 6 or 7 years old and still running fine. Running XP on them and they run great. Theyre not used on the network, only used for powerpoint, playing dvd's, word, excel etc. Newer ones ive seen in shops feel flimsy. Just got an AcerPower 1000, not yet out the box though so will post any problems I have with it (if there are any).

I use DVDShrink & SUPER©. I either make a folder with all the VOBs in as the original disc, or 1 big VOB containing all the video. Or, re-author with just the bits you need. Once ripped to hard disc, use SUPER© to convert to required format. If you need to chop bits out then use windows Movie maker to crop the file down more.

Came across the program WIPECMOS a while ago but never had the pleasure of using it and not sure sure where I got it from. A search should reveal its whereabouts.
