You can force/disconnect with SQL Server Management Studio (user may loose work if not saved), right click SIMS database, properties. Click on options, down the page under state Multi user change to single user.

I think this is right if the practice and staff awareness in place than it is staff responsibility to follow the policy. Can someone share draft do and don't list according to new legislations for staff please?

Hi Phil Will this replace InTouch or InTouch will satay as separate product. Because now we have to pay for two products for communication comparing with other suppliers schoolrooms etc have one product for everything.

We had recently discussions with our supplier and things are moving round again. Few years ago Dell EqualLogic was good SAN storage .... Now Dell moving back to attached storages in hosts, using V-San or spaces.

Not a claim, just telling the experience ..... Didn't said modern HD, used to have issue with old drives might technology have improved now but no harm to test it to find the problem.

Old spinning hard disk get slow after 2/3 years but if they used 24/7 than I believe hard disk need to replace, If you can't afford SSD just try few computers with new Hard Disk for testing I am confident that will make a big difference.

The number of period are right in cycle but can't see where they defined in Novat4 for curriculum. There is some mismatch according to this error.

This list is from Capita, to make sure all these updates are installed on computer.

Thanks for your response, We have already change the timetable cycle because couldn't find other option, nor support from Capita, just trying to add form groups and end up curriculum plan is full error. I am not NOVAT expert so don't now where to change this???

Hi We had change our school day structure which is causing some major attendance issue, I hope somebody here can through some light to resolve this; We used to have REG\Form time start of day and that is used to mark as AM mark. Now REG\From moved to after P2 and School want to use P1 as AM marks. In lesson Monitor if we copy marks from P1 for AM marks, REG/Form register option disappear in Lesson Monitor so From tutor can't do register. One way around to introduce new lesson in timetable and use REG/form time as a new lesson, but how to add Forms in timetable? any other issue with this? Are there any other way around this? Thanks

Hi I have similar question if if someone found the work around please... One teacher want to print subject timetable but he is unable to print on single page. SIMS timetable layout spread on 5 pages for all week. Just spoke to Capita support and been told there is no option to print on single page due to design but you can pet the change request.
