  1. Hi there Newp, PaperCutter Brenda here. This is a known issue and we have it scheduled for a fix this month (July), so stay tuned! We're so sorry for the inconvenience.
  2. Hi there MYK-IT! I chatted quickly with our Supporties and they recommended you reach out to our Tech Services team at [email protected] to get more personalized help. Hope that helps!
  3. Hi there Zussed, PaperCutter Brenda here! Just confirming that you have a PaperCut Partner assisting with this rollout? With these types of issues, they should collect logs, screenshots, etc., and escalate those to our team. If that's not happening, please let us know at [email protected] and we'll try to help out!
  4. Hey there newpersn, PaperCutter Brenda here! It seems you've resolved the issue yourself? Bravo! If not, feel free to comment back and let me know more of what's going on so we can work toward a solution. Have a marvelous Monday!
  5. Great to hear (well, maybe not for those monitoring budgets)! Glad it's all sorted!
  6. Hi there AB_IT – PaperCutter Brenda here! I raised this question with our support team and they mentioned you have an active ticket chatting through solutions, so it looks like you're in the best hands possible. Let us know if we can help further!
  7. Hi there Team! PaperCutter Brenda here, hoping to chime in a little help. The Pro 8310S is a supported device with PaperCut, so it sounds like a possible configuration issue. It could be something incredibly simple, like you didn't check the box to 'track & control copying.' (see screenshot below) If that doesn't resolve things, feel free to reach out to your reseller or [email protected] for further assistance!
  8. Hi there Discovery1031, PaperCutter Brenda here. Sadly, yes this is a thing. We've added a known issue on our website for it: https://papercut.com/support/known-issues/?id=MOB-2977#mobility I hope that helps!
  9. Hi there Kidpressingbuttons, PaperCutter Brenda here. I chatted with our more techie minds about your conundrum. If they had to guess, it sounds like you've changed the email settings in PaperCut MF, but the users are scanning use the native scanning on the device? This would use the settings that are configured on the MFD itself. If you want to use the OAuth settings in PaperCut MF then you need to make sure you're scanning through Integrated Scanning. However, we could probably do with digging into it a little more to make sure we fully understand what you are/aren't using and what you have setup. So if you'd like, please feel free to reach out to [email protected] and we'll be happy to help out!
  10. Good morning! It sounds like you'd be best off contacting our support team to dig a bit deeper into this scenario. Do you mind emailing [email protected] with the details and they'll help you out. Thank you!
  11. Hi there, PaperCutter here! Check out this article for some guidance: https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/UsingUPNswithAzureADSync#more-about-mfa-2fa-requirements. You'll need to create an exception on the Microsoft side to allow the PaperCut server to bypass MFA/2FA and allow username and password authentication. Hope that helps! And if not, let me know so I can connect you with the folks here who are much brainier than me.
  12. Hi there Fiza, PaperCutter Brenda here! Steve21 is spot on – filter the transaction logs report using the “transacted by” field and you should be golden!
  13. Hi there HarryS, PaperCutter Brenda here! Hoping to help out a bit... With Print Deploy, you can let Mobility Print take care of your authentication instead of requiring the additional PCClient. Install Mobility Print on your print server. Then use Print Deploy to push those Mobility Print print queues to your Mac users. Benefits of this setup: • Mobility Print takes care of authentication, so no need for Macs to be joined to a domain. Users do have to do a once-off authentication though. • Print Deploy client can be pushed via your MDM tool. • With Print Deploy you can also update the driver (PPD) to your manufacturer driver. That will give you access to all your more advanced finishing options like stapling. Follow this guide: https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/print-deploy/set-up/set-up-print-deploy/in-a-print-server-environment/computers-not-joined-to-local-domain/ Let me know if this helps out!
  14. Hi there chekmate1984, PaperCutter Brenda here! Thought I'd chime in with some help (hopefully): scan to folder relies on us having read/write permissions to the folder location. Usually this means configuring PaperCut to use a domain account instead of the standard local system account. So this is likely just an incorrect setup, or a change to the account/credentials/folder permissions which affects authentication. Either way, it’s a pretty standard technical support issue and your reseller will be able to help you sort it out quickly! Shoot them an email or call and they should get you taken care of.
  15. Hi there drh92, PaperCutter Brenda here. Sorry for the frustration. Sounds like your reseller could really come in handy sorting this out. But if they're not able to, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Hope that helps and have a happy weekend!
  16. Hi there Neilwoo, PaperCutter Brenda here. Our support team is always available if you're not getting adequate help from your reseller. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] any time!
  17. Hi there genesis, PaperCutter Brenda here! The user client software shouldn't need updating to get the security patches, but it's always good to stay up to date if you can. Hope that helps, and let us know if we can help out during your upgrade!
  18. Hi there, PaperCutter Brenda here! If I understand your question correctly... you can have both KM and Kyocera going to the same virtual queue, but you'd want to make sure the different devices can both read the print jobs. I would reference this section in our manual: https://www.papercut.com/help/manuals/ng-mf/applicationserver/find-me-global-print-driver/ Most of the time this works, but each environment is different so you should test it before pushing to production. And when in doubt, you can always ask your reseller for some guidance. Hope that helps!
  19. You beat me to it, Edu-IT! I raised this question with our tech team and was waiting for their response. They're curious if this is referring to a custom report, or one of the built-in reports? Probably best to raise this question with our support team at [email protected]. They could do some proper troubleshooting with you!
  20. That's great to hear, and we appreciate the feedback. I'll pass it on to the team! Thanks again and take care.
  21. Hi there IKWeb, PaperCutter Brenda here. I chatted with our techie team folk, and they said you should be able to skip our mobileconfig file entirely and just create an AirPrint profile in Intune itself.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-features-configurehttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/ios-device-features-settings There are four pieces of info it needs: IP address, path, port, and whether TLS is enabled. For a Mobility Print queue, IP is that of the MP server, path is /printers/printerName where printerName is literally the name of the printer, port is 9164, and TLS should be enabled. I hope that helps! If not, you can always chat our support crew directly at [email protected] for more knowledge.
  22. Hi there maxrebo! PaperCutter Brenda here. We've shared this KB which may help: https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/JobsStuckWithStatusOfPrinting . Also this blog touches on it: https://www.papercut.com/blog/print_basics/printer-spooling-what-is-it-and-how-to-fix-it/ . Hope that helps! If not, please feel free to reach out to [email protected].
  23. Hi there snagrat – PaperCutter Brenda here! Unfortunately we don't have much documented on this, but if you'd be willing to open a ticket with our support team, we'd be happy to dive in with you. Just email [email protected]. Here's everything we have from the manual, in case you want to try self-serving a bit:• SharePointDocument Library URL—(SharePoint Online only) type the URL of the document library in which you want the scan jobs delivered. When using sub-sites, you need to specify the hierarchy, for example: https://companyname.sharepoint.com/sites/melbourne/Invoices/AllItems.aspx• Your URL might look more complex than this example, but PaperCut NG/MF will work out the correct path if you copy the entire URL. NOTE • Maximum length is 1000 characters.• If you want to scan to more than one document library, just set up multiple Scan Actions that each point to a different document library, such as one for invoices and another for forms. Hope that helps! And again, please feel free to contact support directly.
