Had a number of HP 800 G6 Minis in classrooms do this too also using DP to HDMI convertors. We concluded that the older versions work the video chips harder and they overheat and stop displaying. When they cooled down it started working again. Swapped ours for onboard hdmi video cards instead and seemed to fix the issues, its was cheaper than buying new DP to HDMI convertors.

Yeah we're having more issues this year. Also seems to be an issue if the student already has a pending CPOMS transfer to another school. i.e. they already started a transfer from school 1 to school 2, now there going to school 3 but that data will not sync because its already pending in school 2 so doesn't show up. Got 2 ongoing calls with CPOMS about this which are slow to get responses too.

How does SIMS run on the server itself? If its still sluggish then might not be network adapter related.

We've just had Lightspeed installed and so far so good. Client install for Windows, extension for Chromebooks and something called Smartshield which catches everything else by becoming your DNS forwarder. Reporting is good and support is excellent.

We use a school wide PA system called Audiebant. It has bells for lessons, music if needed, text to speech announcements or prerecorded templates ready to go using a phone app or web interface. The multiple bell ringing system we had previously was just confusing people. Incidentally we also have netsupport notify but don't use it for invacuation/evacuation messages.

Hi, We have almost all our servers now virtualised using Hyper-V stored on 3 server 2019 Hyper-V hosts. Its my understanding that virtual servers should have no need for a paging file except for crash log files and maybe domain controllers. As long as the server has enough RAM to deal with day to day demands surely any local stored files are just going to put extra load on the local storage array especially when you multiply that by 10 servers per host? Researching on the web I seem to come across conflicting information on this so hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Do you guys run paging files and let windows manage their size on your virtual servers? Thanks

Sound like you need to configure a name and connectivity server, but contact Netsupport support, there very good.

I managed to find the difference in subscription in our Wonde portal. Its under settings > Wonde license. I think we'll be downgrading to the free version as we don't use any of the premium features.
