Embedded youtube videos in Google Slides

Can you block *.googlevideo.com? This should stop the videos from playing. i.ytimg.com should also block any thumbnail images. -
We've used KBR, WM Networks and Newland Media. Happy with all three.

We've recently moved to Redstor for all of our backups after previously using Veeam (on prem backups only) for many years, CT for cloud backups. We're now paying less per year with Redstor (Stone Group are our reseller) for unlimited on prem and unlimited cloud (Google and/or Microsoft) using their new Education pricing. Their service utilises two UK based data centers and, alongside production data, meets RPA requirements.

I went through Stone Group as a reseller.

I would highly recommend Redstor. Their new Educational pricing model is exceptional value for money. Provides unlimited on prem server backup and Google/365 and is based on number of students.

+1 for a wireless point to point link. They can operate on a 60Ghz frequency with a very focused beam (with a 5Ghz backup) giving very little interference and +1Gbps speeds.

Can you create a test Firewall Policy with a single PC (create an address using the IP) and apply all of your security policies (web filter, av, application etc) or clones of these rules. Then try removing the rules one by one until you can find whats stopping them from loading. If you have an application or video policy against your firewall policy rule it could have been updated behind the scenes and is now causing an issue.

It looks like the converter you have is for an SC fibre connection whereas the SFP+ tranceivers are for an LC connection. Other than changing the fibre cabling to LC you may need to use a converter like this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiber-Adapter-Female-Multimode-Duplex/dp/B001B1DVGC/ref=pd_lpo_3?pd_rd_i=B001B1DVGC&psc=1

We've purchased teaching and learning upgrade licences for teaching staff, SLT and the IT team (£27/user/year). -
Have you tried deleting a users local profile from a machine and asking them to log in again (forcing it to pull down a fresh copy)?

Long, long overdue, but we are about to upgrade our library software from an ancient and discontinued (I believe) Autolib.2000 to Softlink Oliver. We need to provide Softlink with our book catalogue data to avoid having to scan in thousands of books! However, there is no export function that I can see and no SQL database. All of the data is within a single folder on the library PC (.V1 and a few .DDF files). Does anyone know how I can read or ideally convert .V1 files to a format such as CSV please? Googling has led me to it possibly being a Pervasive SQL setup but I cannot see how to access this data.

We've added some Interactive Whiteboards to our collection but couldn't see any options for keyboards, cables etc.

Thanks for the replies. We're going to raise a collection using the app this week and I'll let everyone know our experience.

Has anybody used this service yet? We have a lot of equipment to dispose of/recycle of soon. Does anyone know how many points items such as PCs, Laptops and projectors etc are worth? And what do points equate to in terms of £s?

I had a similar issue recently after adding a 2019 DC and transferring FSMO Roles. Some of the folders were hidden in SYSVOL on the 2019 DC and I hadn't switched on - View - Hidden Items. Thought I'd mention just in case.

I've just created a vb.net application that checks to see if chrome.exe exists in either location and opens accordingly. Would you like me to pm you to give it a try?

+1 for Logitech kit. It's expensive compared to other solutions but I've had fantastic feedback from Senior Leadership/Governors for it's value during lockdown. I installed a Logitech Meetup in a smaller conference room and the Rally Plus (https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/rally-ultra-hd-conferencecam) in a larger room, with additional mics. Even users with minimal technical ability (the ones that seems to break everything/have no luck) managed to use it. We also received a lot of positive feedback from external attendees who were extremely impressed with the quality.
