  1. Does it bring up the Minecraft Launcher when it first opens? You could change the block to *Minecraft Launcher* and set it to a caption block instead?
  2. Hi Steve, It sounds like the power management reports in the Impero Console should give you the information you need. Go to Admin > Power Management > Reports. Fill in the information you need and then click Generate Report. If you go to the Usage Analysis in the report then you can break it down further into start and end times. I hope that helps!
  3. Could someone have disabled the USB storage through Impero?
  4. Do you have fast startup enabled on the machines? I've seen that cause loads of WOL issues on Windows 10.
  5. I've seen a similar issue on an RM One before but a BIOS update fixed it.
  6. Fail! :'( *Lightsaber I blame my new keyboard >_>
  7. What?! Why would anyone sell such a thing? It would be cool apart from the blinding/burning/cancer making part... Plus why can no one spell "Lighsaber"?
  8. Thanks for that peoples, will pass the info on to the music teacher and see what we can come up with
  9. Hi, I've been asked by our music teacher to have a look at getting some new microphones and stands for the hall. They would mostly be used for speaking/singing but occasionally instruments as well. I've been suggested by a friend to get the Shure SM-58 Microphone and an audio technica mic stand. (Want to spend about £70-80 on each mic and about £50 on the stand). Does anyone know of a good supplier for this kind of equipment? The music teacher has bought stuff before, but has had problems with delivery times and needs the stuff in the next few weeks. Thanks
  10. I have a cup of Echinacea and cranberry/rasberry tea every day and I have felt so much better since I started. When I first started working in education I literally had a cold every other week. It's quite nice too and makes a change from normal tea/coffee.
  11. Ooo I just got to watch a bit of hollyoaks Seems to be working fine here.
  12. I play too much world of warcraft and once had a job typing up notes for a drug rehab place. I kept typing "heroic" instead of "heroin"
  13. I actually live in Derbyshire, but halfway between Nottingham and Derby in a place called West Hallam which is lovely and pretty quiet. I don't know if it would be too far out for Nottingham though being that I never go to Nottingham. Its fairly easy to get to one of the park and ride tram stations (phoenix park) though I believe.
  14. At home I have a 24" widescreen with a 19" as a second monitor. Best of both worlds At work I just have a laptop, and do sometimes miss having the second monitor.

    Cycling

I haven't used my bike for about 10 years :S But then I did walk into work today as it looked so nice and sunny. Thing is, it only takes me about 10-15 mins to drive in as its not that far and there's no traffic at all, so it takes me a lot longer to walk. Need to get the bike sorted, but I just don't have the motivation!
  16. I'd personally be just as worried about the long term damage to the engines etc. Even if they do make it through this time, surely all the damage, however small, is going to reduce the lifespan of the engines?
  17. OOoo. It is quite addictive! I've got 27976 on my best go. And I now know where loads more places are. Bonus!
  18. Wierdly enough, one of our Admin Staff's PCs just started showing HTML instead of websites this morning, and most of the images were distorted. I just went to check to see if it was weird HTML, but the problem seems to have gone away now She's using IE 8 though, and the 3 other PCs that are on in the school are fine.
  19. Oh noes! Those are the routers we have here. There's one sat on a shelf near me. I think its looking at me!! /cower
  20. Hey, I have been asked by the head of IT to get a quote for a couple of PC's to go at the front of each IT lab for staff to use. The spec he's been looking at is: Windows XP 20" Monitor Keyboard + Mouse Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 4GB RAM 160GB HDD DVD Burner 512MB Nvidia G210 Or something similar, around £650 I've also been allowed to get myself a new laptop! (this one is only 9 years old ) Anything around £300-£350 (Windows XP, dvd writer...anything as long as it doesn't have just a floppy disk drive and heat up to unbearable temperatures by the afternoon). If anyone could help me out that'd be great
  21. Everything in my house gets switched off at the plug before I go to bed (cept things like the fridge...) Which is good coz my rabbits escaped last night. Don't think they'd have been very happy chewing through cables if I'd left everything on!
  22. Aww, how cute I hope its nothing serious.
  23. Sadly a lot of people see small animals as disposable pets and don't realise the time/cost involved. I took one of my rabbits to be spayed last week which cost me £72. Probably costs about £100 a year to get them vaccinated. I help at a small animal rescue and there are so many animals that get handed in as people realise they can't afford them, especially at the moment.
  24. I bought my house about nine months ago. Just before the house prices started going up again
  25. Ooo lol. We've got loads of these tables in the staff room...
