  1. Another call last night to say it is being actively worked on and I should see the global service issue within Admin panel but I cannot. Emailed them back with a screenshot, this issue is definitely not in the 'active issues Microsoft are working on' list. No ETA as of yet and workaround for now is to perform browser resets. Anyone else had any further info?
  2. They got back to me yesterday - see response below. Hello Jensen, It was great speaking with you again today. As we discussed, the issue with users not been able to sign into SharePoint Online is a known service incidence that we are investigating and working towards a resolution. Kindly refer to the below articles as regards steps to run PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) and then Fiddler trace, while replicating the issue. How to use Problem Steps Recorder - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn Record steps to reproduce a problem - Microsoft Support For Fiddler Trace, please use the below information to access SARA and complete the fiddler trace. Unique key: EE2B3323 Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistance (SaRA) link How to run the Fiddler Trace after installing SaRA - Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn We look forward to your response. Kind regards, Eniola Microsoft 365 support
  3. I logged this on Monday, didn't call me until yesterday. Asked for the email addresses of affected users (maybe 10 of 200 users affected) Will come back when I get a resolution.
  4. Anyone else unable to access SharePoint via M365? All other services such as Outlook, Word, Excel can be reached. Happening on both personal devices at home, and domained devices when in schools so cannot be GPO or filtering. Nothing reported on Entra ID logs for the user or devices. Logged with Microsoft The short term solution seems to be a browser reset which would indicate something cached is corrupt but not sure where to start with that. Both browsers (Edge/Chrome) are up to date. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi all, Looking to manage Windows Updates within an ICT Suite environment. The IT Teachers do not want Windows Update to disrupt teaching and learning which is a fair point. Currently got an active hours policy set at 8am-5pm. Machines will not auto-restart during these hours, so as long as they're not rebooted, all should be fine. I have WoL in place booting my machines at 6:57am Windows Update policy kicks in at 7am and installs/updates and reboots if needs be. All good on this front. The problem I have is during the day, if Class A turns off the devices when finished, then Class B come into the suite, it is going to install updates upon boot because on the previous power cycle an update may of been pending because I cannot find anything to dictate to tell my clients "do not go searching for updates at a certain time". The Microsoft Update guidance only specifies policies I can enforce to prevent auto-restarts, nothing on auto-installs. The solution would be if I could implement a policy which disregarded Windows Updates for my active hours specified, but Microsoft do not offer this as far as I can see. I might look into ActionOne (free for up to 100 devices) hopefully this has better management. Keen to know how this is managed elsewhere. Reading this back I sound like a mad man!! Thanks in advance
  6. Vouch - as an MSP this is what we recommend.
  7. Similar here - recommended to staff to sync sharepoint sites, when the migration from on-prem to SharePoint it wasn't planned. It has just been a drag and drop so some sites are sitting at 1TB+ Awful solution when syncing locally as files do not sync or take days as OneDrive has to file version EVERYTHING before syncing changes. Google Drive for Desktop works much better in this instance. Whereas previous schools had a 'staff drive' containing everything, we've now recommeneded a sharepoint site per subject just to split up the masses of data which can then be synced if wanted to.
  8. Only issue I've had so far is using SMART Notebook files within Sharepoint. Even if the library is synced locally the files have to be downloaded manually before use. Hard to get schools to move away from this as we do not have a Microsoft native app comparable to SMART Notebook or any cloud-based solution. Similarly with MacOS and Garageband, currently having to support a suite of Macs because the software blows their competitors out the water
  9. Restrict Safari, 90% of providers now provide an app to login into to provide credentials.
