is it the 4040000 number? It is a little weird that RM LP team don't really know Integris, there is a lass on the team, i think the only female on the support desk, she tends to be very good (don't want to mention her name on here.... for obvious reasons) otherwise, i'm open to questions - it is afterall why i'm on here :-)

We have a Phaser 6350 Xerox at the mo... its a duplex printer, bit bulks but I really like it - compared to previous Oki's and HPs anyway

We have been using Manual provisioning for our Pupil referal units - somewhere for kids to go when in limbo between school and exclusion if you like... The child is still registered at their original school so you can't add them to the PRU MIS with a CTF transfer, it doesn't like dual registered. The work around for us was to create a ficticious child with details, it didn't seem to care about the details for the UPN aslong as it started with a letter and ended with a number and was "Unique". Using the school DCSF number will further ensure you are using a unique number if all school that need these type of accounts follow suite. :-) BTW - they are developing Kaleidos to deal with dual registered pupils in September 2009 release..... after thought or what?

Hi All, YOu might have seen me thread on the "New Users" forum, just thought I would explain my reasons for being on here. I have 11 years experience, from leaving school I went to MIS Support as a junior, did that for 4 years, then did 3 years network management in Primary sector for the whole of my authority, then came back to MIS Support as the manager. While in the middle of managing the migration project from Integris Classic to G2, I also started RM Kaleidos installations for the whole of our Authority. I personally tended to the installations and the support which has been created from it, if you need any help or just to share practises I'm mroe than happy. I Am on the hunt for all Integris Schools, in all but the Secondary sector (i think SIMS is better suited to Seconday... personal opinion). I want to know if they receive support from their Authority and whether its any good - i'm hoping to be able to improve it. Take care guys

Hi all, I'm in a slightly awkward position, but i'll let you know what i've been up to. I have worked for my LA for 11 years now, primarily on Integris, we're just in the process of moving to INtegris G2 - I will be honest, I think it is a pile of sh1te for Secondary, but for the primary sector it is the perfect product. As I work for the LA, I directly support anything to do with the Admin computer within the school, this is a buyback feature but there are 2 of us to support the 65 schools we have. We have a very close working relationship with the school, bring them in for training, remote desktop support, onsite visits, even organise a christmas party for them all so they can all share their own experiences. In January 2008 I started the rollout of RM Kaleidos with all our RM Primaries, out SIMS Secondaries and the Manually provisioned PRU's, APP and EY's. This is also going well, the communications between the 2 major software suppliers and the VLE has had a few glitches, but nothing major. I am happy to share any experience I have gained over the previous years, additionally, if your school has Integris or INtegris G2 and only receives their support directly from RM, I'm looking to set up privately to provide the same support to other LA's as i do already to mine. Sorry i'm joining in this on the back end... and in a different year! but hey. We were one of the early adopters of the RM VLE Kaleidos and we started implementation back in January 2008 - i've only just found this site so bear with me.
