We are pleased to announce that we have set a date for our 2016 EDIT conference. The event will take place on Thursday the 2nd June at the National Space Centre in Leicester. We are still in the early stages of planning but already have some awesome ideas for speakers and topics lined up and it promises to be a great day. Announcing the Official Edugeek Game Servers - Minecraft and more.
EduGeek is again hosting its own Minecraft server, for the use of any and all members of the site who wish to play. Hopefully the first of a number of gaming servers. The server is now running Resonant Rise: Mainline, available via the ATLauncher. All the optional mods are installed except EiraIRC. You can pick between JourneyMap and VoxelMap. A bit of background first….Microsoft has had an UK Schools Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DfE for over 10 years, which includes UK specific discounts and licensing concessions for on-premises software purchased through a Volume Licensing Agreement.
