Hello there. Without meaning to be too much of a bold one, Papercut thought you might like to know about the release today of their cloud-native print management solution, PaperCut Hive.
The official blurb says that PaperCut Hive brings the power, control, security, and savings of print management traditionally enjoyed by large businesses to organizations of any size, even the smallest around the world, via serverless printing.
The unofficial blurb says Papercut are super excited about launching this, as it provides a path to print management savings and security for workplaces that are cloud native.
The fancy parts of PaperCut Hive are things like:
- the use of Edge Mesh tech in place of needing a physical print server
- loads of redundancy built in to the self-healing mesh
- the ability to print from off-network
- the ability to print even when the internet’s down (that one’s coming soon)
Another cloud print management problem PaperCut Hive has solved is the speed of printing for users. While some software vendors have slowed down the printing process by sending documents up to the cloud and back down again—frustrating workers who have to waste time waiting for their document to print—PaperCut Hive keeps printed documents within the workplace via the Edge Mesh.
