We’re back in the north of England once more for EDIT 2023 after a many years break in the southern hinterlands for venues and lockdowns!

Join us on the 24th of October at the Royal Armouries in Leeds for our FREE EDIT Conference kindly sponsored by Smoothwall.

Location and Timings:

EduGeek EDIT 2023 will be held on the 24th of October 2023 in the Perl (formerally Wellington) Suite at the Royal Armouries Leeds.

Doors will be open at 09:00 and the conf kicks off with Smoothwall’s keynote talk at 09:45.

The conf is scheduled to finish at 5pm.

Please note that we will have a list of those who didn’t make the booking in time and on a shortlist. If you have registered and can’t make it then please let us know and I shall remove your ticket and issue it to someone else. Please ensure you do this as soon as possible so we can ensure the best attendance of those on the waitlist.

After Conf Social:

As always, there will be an evening meetup for those who are staying over and this years will be held at the Smoothwall offices from 17:30. All are welcome.

You can find their offices at, Second Floor, 2 Whitehall Quay, Leeds LS1 4HR. A 2 min walk from Leeds railway station.

Travel:

Rail - The Royal Armouries is easy to reach and is a 10-15 min walk from Leeds railway station.

*And yes, I know it says 17 mins on the map, but I’ve walked this myself and unless you keep stopping to look at things you’ll make it in 10-15 mins.

Car - You can also come by car and there is a car park next to the Armouries (CitiPark Leeds Dock, LS10 1LE). If you are parking for 24 hours, then you get a discount on parking.

This is £10.80 for 24 hours and you will have to pay (card only) in the Perl Suite to a member of the RA staff who will validate your ticket.

If someone is giving you a lift, there is a drop-off point outside (see pic below).

Hotels

If you are coming by train and wish to remain close to the station then there are several affordable hotels nearby from the likes of Travel Lodge.
