  1. We're seeing this at the moment. I introduced a server 2025 domain controller to the domain recently after one needed to be rebuilt but it seems to have been a good 3 or 4 months before it's kicked in, unless users have just been slow at telling us. I've seen the other article on here about users having the same issue. I think i'm going to rebuild it again on 2022 for now until something is done about it or some better guidance is distributed online. Some users have said 25H2 solves it but we have a load of machines on 25H2 and they're still experincing the same problem periodically. We're also seeing random users suddenly saying their password is incorrect and when they move machine it works.
  2. Afternoon all, Just out of curiosity, if you use Vericool what badge printing software are you using and are you using MiFare cards for the student printing side of things? Thanks!
  3. Yeah I don't think we're going to bother looking at Civica.
  4. How does the system work, is it just a shortcut on a windows desktop till to a website? If so, what's stopping us using our own tills? We need to replace our tills and plan on buying our own rather than paying the stupid costs these companies try charging. Have looked at Cunninghams and it looked great, just need to arrange some more demos elsewhere and Vericool sounds pretty good.
  5. I've just been reading a post about this on Edugeek. I believe Smart have acknowledged a problem in 25 and are working on a fix.
  6. Could you expand on the Paxton integration and how that works please? We're currently exploring new options as we're sick of Biostore and IRIS support is horrendous.
  7. Our schools are split into hubs within the Leeds region. Although you will be primarily based at one site, you may be asked to travel to other schools within your hub from time to time to assist or cover depending on staffing. You would also work closely with other schools across the organisation and be involved in projects and training days when required. Hope this helps!

  9. We use Stone for our Jamf licence and on a 3 year contract it worked out at around £4.95
  10. Has anyone moved to the Biostore cloud offering but in a secondary setting? We're being quoted £2,500 per till to replace our older kit which is a joke but a few of our primaries are now using the cloud version with some tablets and it's working great. This works well for primary students but for our secondaries, I think we'd need each student to have a QR code that can be scanned using the camera and then staff choose their meal choices. I'm not sure how well that would work? One colleague has said the reporting isn't great for secondaries but other than end of day and general user balance reports, I'm not entirely sure what else they really need.
  11. @TechMonkey - That's a good question, i'll take a look at this now thank you.
  12. Good morning all, As we grow as a Trust, i'd like to try and create some kind of task list that I can share with the team along with dates that can be used as a check list and be signed off by a specific member of staff for basic hardware and software maintenance, server room checks, switch firmware updates etc... I just wondered if anyone has come up with anything fancy or use a specific tool for anything like this, especially if you are a large trust with lots of sites. Thanks, Jonny
