No there isn't currently a way to do this in Admin Console. You can default the rotation on start up, but you can't limit it.

1st January 2026 was the general ban on manufacture, import and export of new mercury containing products. Projectors had an exemption till 24th February 2027, and at that point all new mercury lamp projectors are banned. So only spares for existing projectors will be allowed from that point, and only existing stock.

I can, primarily that they'll expect them to be able to do things that they probably aren't powerful enough to, particularly in those departments. Great little device, but I do worry that the "Apple" logo will give inexperienced teachers an expectation that they're capable of things a £2000+ device is.

The extension is sandboxed in the browser, so it isn't monitoring Android apps, Linux or system level tools. The general rule with Android apps we follow is to avoid pushing them out if they have a browser contained within them. Windows wise, I'd push them directly from Admin Console as long as the browser is enrolled.

That's technically not true anymore. As a general rule yes, but you can also deploy to the browser now if you have Chrome Enterprise Core.

We've taken to providing enrolment accounts for devices and getting our IT team to do the first login with that account before handing devices out.

You're all discussing some very interesting ways to end up getting block listed by YouTube guys. The answer remains, that if you post a YouTube video in Google Classroom, that will strip the adverts from it.

I haven't read anywhere that i3 processors will no longer be supported. Are you sure you're not conflating the CPU generation issue (ie anything lower than 8th Gen isn't supported)?

If you add a YouTube video to Google Classroom, then play it through the Classroom interface, that will surpress adverts, I believe.

Tim Cook's reign has been interesting, as he's not managed to find the next great product category, or diversify Apple's product categories so they're less reliant on the iPhone for their income. They've continued their "not first to market, but polished the experience" position with AirPod, AirTag and Apple Watch but it's all been accessories rather than any major product category. It'll be interesting what comes next for them, though I'm sure Tim Apple will continue his role as their Trump whisperer. 🤣

For NASA New Horizons probe to travel from Jupiter to Pluto To complete TWO full undergraduate degrees To complete A PhD and a postdoctoral fellowship ... and Schools Broadband still falls over the moment schools return from a two-week break. It is remarkable that seven years later, the system still cannot reconcile a return to 'normal' traffic levels that it was handling perfectly well just a fortnight before. Timeless.
