Read only Office Documents after suspend...

We are having this exact problem that's documented here:

in summary:

 

When resuming from sleep/standby/hibernation where staff have left Word or Excel with a file open from a network drive.

System comes back up and Word makes the document read only and shows the error:

 

 

"Word cannot establish a network connection with this document after the system resume from suspend mode. Save the document into a different file to keep any changes"

 

 

I found a hotfix for Office 2010:

However even thought the hotfix is for Office 2010 and I have Office 2010 installed it says "There are no products affected by this package installed on this system"!

The file version of WINWORD.EXE on an affected PC's is:

 

14.0.7140.5000

 

Maybe the patch has already been applied with other updates and so it's not required - in which case - how do I fix??
