Rm cc4

Bit of a newbie. I've inherited a cc4 network and have problems with a vcd "rivers". I try to open the Vcd software but it says I don't have permission. I have logged on as administrator, systemadmin and setup. But all to no avail. My fist has almost hit a screen on several occasions working with this management software. Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? Please, pretty please!!!

Have you tried contacting RM themselves? If you have a support agreement...

no support agreement. System is very old.

IIRC local admin gets disabled during the CCx build process.

Not local admin but will try it. When I've looked in rm management can't find where this is restricted. Seems insane to me that RM deem it necessary to restrict administrator, systemadmin accounts from doing a basic function. Can't wait till school frees up cash so we can tip out this rubbish and just use ad.

Yes - You are using an RM system and trying to fit logic in to it!

 

Have you tried right-clicking and using Run As? Don't suppose it'll make any difference, but you never know......
