Yes. I have read all these solutions but it uses intelligent provision install os. So all I see when I boot with CD is the cd itself and no other drives. So cant use this method I did look at all published idea and found all did not work prior to requesting help. I was hoping that someone had experienced this issue and had found a work around or solution. I have just decided to rebuild the system Thank you for you reply

After a ms service pack my server boots up and tries to install the service pack. It gets to 100% of stage 1 and then reboots and it starts again. I can not log in and I do not know how to get it into safe mode. There is no F8 option as in Win10 that would give me boot options. The server is a ML310 gen 8 with Raid 0 OS Server 2012 Installed Intelligent Provision. I can get it to boot to cd\dvd but this does not allow access to see the hard drive. Any ideas welcome. I just do not want to have to rebuild. Thank You Gary

Has any one seen this yet. I saw two win 8 laptops today do the same thing. When you click internet explore (on desktop,program menu or straight from the exe) IE starts to open but the closes and a download window appears prompting to save or open random files. These files names are random names and change each time. If you ignore and close app and start again it does the same again but now there are two files. It is very odd. Chrome works fine. Searched web but can't find any ideas. Any advice would be welcome.

Hi, The school has a Cisco 4400 wifi manager with cisco wifi ap's. The wifi coverage is fine and all laptops and iPads access it fine. However, the school has just purchased new laptops and these will not connect. They see the wifi but will not connect. I have checked the passkey and it is correct. I have rebooted it but it will not allow them to connect. I have set up another wifi network within the controller and this will not allow any clients to connect. I just get an error saying client could not conner to wifi. When I enter the passkey it tries to connect but then fails. There is no mac filtering enable on the controller, I checked that first. Any ideas Gary

Thanks for that. It's all my email accounts both personal and lea. They say that we are to use browser but that has its restrictions and is not accessible offline. The ports issues are likely. I will ask? I have seen a message when using IE saying that SSL is not enabled does that mean it's blocked? Thanks

Hi, Does any one know why my mail can't be accessed in school. I use a mac and the mail app works fine at home but won't work at all in school. The school is on LEA firewall (Smoothwall) I do not have access to this. I can access the web mail fine but not through the app. What questions do I need to ask my lea? I would really appreciate any advice. I am based in Southport so are under the Sefton LEA run by a company called avarto. Thanks Gary

I've contacted Casio and it is covered by a 5 yr educational warranty. They are also willing to supply temporary one on loan. Now that's a good service.

Hi, I have had this projector for a couple of years. Today it the 'Temp' red light has come on. I have cleaned it but fault continues. Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if there is a difference to 2008 and 2008 r2. but there is no IEM within user config - windows settings. And deco not in 2012. I've already dealt with that little nightmare last week.

Thanks for the guide but thats the 2003 gp. Not like that on 2008 and 2012. I've just written a batch file as part of logon.bat that modifies reg with home page and proxy settings. This is work around until I can sort it. The xp's are sp3. I suspected that they don't support prefs but I can't find the old way of 2003 server to set proxy.

Hi I wonder if someone can help. I have a 2008 server r2 with xp clients. The problem is that gpo is propagating to client. I get desktop and other customisation but not proxy settings. I have run rsop and the gpo is getting to client. I am at a loss. The windows 7 clients get policy from the preferences that I set in the user config - preferences - control panel settings - internet settings. But none of xp machines. Any ideas?

Not local admin but will try it. When I've looked in rm management can't find where this is restricted. Seems insane to me that RM deem it necessary to restrict administrator, systemadmin accounts from doing a basic function. Can't wait till school frees up cash so we can tip out this rubbish and just use ad.

I can change region setting inc keyboard etc. However, what is really irritating me is I can't remove nba and nfl sections from sports schedule within the sports app. Does anyone know how to do this. Bit of a newbie. I've inherited a cc4 network and have problems with a vcd "rivers". I try to open the Vcd software but it says I don't have permission. I have logged on as administrator, systemadmin and setup. But all to no avail. My fist has almost hit a screen on several occasions working with this management software. Hi I need some advice. We have an epson emp 400w projector. The bulb recently blew and with new bulb every time we turn it on it crackles and the bulb flickers but does not come on permanently. What is likely to be wrong and where can I get it repaired. I'm based in Merseyside Any help and advice would be greatly appriciated Cheers
