We've just had a new Cat 5 digital phone installed, and our phone supplier has said there's no such thing as a cordless set compatible for digital phones.

 

Is this true? It's very hard to believe.

Its not VOIP, just on structured cabling. Installed by Channelcomms.

On our old system, all the cordless phones were analogue ones, though they were in locations which didn't need things like voicemail so maybe it was just a cost issue. Like you, I'd find it hard to believe there are NONE available

if it's a digital set it will be on a digital line card, plugging in an analoug phone will not work.

 

The set has to work with the PBX that it's plugged into so if the manufacturer does not make a Cordless then there is none to buy.
