Apps looking great, just one minor niggle (I apologise if this has already been covered):

When you open a notification to read a thread, there doesn't appear to be any way to get to any other part of the app, you're stuck in that thread alone. It'd be nice if there was a home button or something similar.

Yeah I noticed that, I was looking for ages for a piece of the standard HUI which seems to be making appearances these days. Needs a home button or similar, or the back button should bring you back to the home rather than out of the app completely :)

I press the back button and it goes back, not out of the app. Nexus7.

Depends, if you click on a notification then it doesn't and you have to reopen the app to get to anything other than the current thread. I'm on nexus as well :-)

Just a FYI, a new update version will be coming soon for both iOS and Android which has an updated style and various bug fixes.

I decided not to hault the older, just approved iOS version to allow you to get the app sooner rather then wait for apple to approve the new version.

I find that pictures make my Wildfire S lag as it waits for them to load. I'm also on a limited data contract. Any way to make the app hide pictures until required?

Yay! I can't wait, I've had my HTC Titan WP since 2011, and absolutely love it! Now it's running 7.8 it's even better!

Nope, Windows Phone 7.8 update was officially released Jan 30th. The supposed time frame is within the month, but I couldn't wait any longer, so forced the update via Zune. If you google it you'll find a webpage that tells you how to "force" the 7.5 update onto 7.0, and the same method still works! Rock on!

Epic, updating my LG 7Q now, refused to go to 8 till they released 7.8 to make sure they were serious about the platform, surprised the news got past me, damn groupthinky Slashdot, perhaps you should post a thread on the availability and method here, there are a few of us with WP7.5
