sippo Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I've just been to Tesco cafe and had a burger. "anything on it sir?' They asked. 'Go on then, a fiver each way'. I replied. 1

Rawns Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I liked the bbc videowhe they cooked and ate horse. It made me very hungry indeed! Trying to think of a pun revolving around The Hungry Horse chain, but failing.
CAM Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I want a proper horse burger now, this entire story has been bad for the horse population...
tmcd35 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Trying to think of a pun revolving around The Hungry Horse chain, but failing. Mmmm, considering the content any mention of Hungry Horse's might be bordering on cannibalism. (actually isn't there a facebook story about chickens? I think it was in the film...)
Rawns Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Mmmm, considering the content any mention of Hungry Horse's might be bordering on cannibalism. (actually isn't there a facebook story about chickens? I think it was in the film...) Speaking of Chickens, one of my mates used to work down in Exeter for the old local radio station (before it got bought out by Heart). He was a news reporter and researched the local stories and sometimes did the "on the scene news" soundbites that you get in news. Anyway, he told me about a story he was covering about a chicken farm that in the region that was going into administration and everything was being sold off, including the local "residents" of the farm. An auction was held to get the best price for the chickens and the only two interested parties were the UK branch of Mars Incorporated (who own and make Pedegree Chum), and KFC. Guess who won the "stock"...
Earthling Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 On a more normal note, has anyone actually tried horse? Had it in a restaurant in France one time. It was ok, but I got saddled with the bill.
HarryMonkey Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) A cow walks into a bar. Barman says 'why the long face?' Cow says 'Bloody, illegal ingredients, coming over here stealing our jobs!' Those Tesco horse burgers were nice, but I prefer My Lidl Pony. I was in the tesco cafe ordering my food and the waitress asked if I wanted anything on my burger, so I had a fiver each way Edited January 17, 2013 by HarryMonkey
