Anyone got a copy of VMware ESX 3x iso I can 'aquire'...

I've got an old server that I need to VMware as a development box, but VMware won't let me download it, keeps sending me round in circles to register for it!

 

Any one got an ISO I can FTP/Dropbox?

Ummm, tried that. The registration page takes me round in circles. I'm logged in, it tells me I am not authorised to download it, gives me a link to register, the page takes me to somewhere I can register, I check the details on the page and OK them, it takes me to the page I was on before and says I'm not authorised to download it still.

 

VMWare are being pretty unhelpful by saying essentially that as we don't have a support contract they won't answer any of our questions even though we aren't asking for support on a product, we are asking for a product.

ESX is now version 5 I think, see if you can register to download version 5.

Probably wanting to run it on limited H/W

 

You will need to register to get the activation code anyway otherwise after 60 days something happens......
