This is a general query to all of the males on the forum. I am curious too see how many of us geeks are fathers. I do not mean to be sexist, as there is an agenda here.

Some I already know

Everyone else, feel free to post up!

I have a son who is 2 and a half years old. With a daughter on the way.

someone pm'd me and asked this. Here is my reply lol.

'Hey there. How is it having the kids left home?'

Great!

no hair dye in the bathroom.

No things moved around.

Food stays in the fridge. No late night 'visitors'

we actually have some money to spend on ourselves lol.

Well the reality is I wanted to gauge the response from the community and started a dads only site, some people from here are already members, some from the xbox and PC community are also members.

But hey ho! Link is somewhere on this post.

GF but no kids.

Very very very happy about that too. Can't imagine how anyone does it.

And not that sort of "it"; I know how that works I saw diagrams once.

I would like to add...you're missing out not having kids (though I would NEVER have said that before having kids)

Without sounding like an arse I'd be careful how you phrase that - not everyone can have kids. For some people not having children is a stressful and upsetting time. Some people go through tough times whilst trying to have children and some never succeed.

I know you didn't mean anything by it - but it's amazing how people sometimes say things without knowing.

Hell yes. I've got a flip cam that I set up on a tripod, and I'm keeping a video diary...now on 3 years worth of footage for Isabel. Both of her and milestones, her in daily life etc, and me, in a sort of "big brother-esque" "personal viewpoint" addon at the end of every week. I think (hope) it'll give her something to look back on and smile about, plus maybe some food for thought.

Also, I know I'm a big of an old wreck, with my healh issues and all..if anything happens, I'd like to know she's got that.

Olly is of course now included..heh. Might start a second one for him..

I have one child. A son of 2 1/2 . Possibly will have more in the future.

I am going to be hard but fair when he is older with regards to consoles and games. He can have the latest Xbox/console he wants..... when he can beat me or my high scores at a selection of games on MAME (bomberman, street fighter and a few others)

Either that or he can have his own new gadget when he can either build it himself or buy it himself.
