APC Simple Cable 940-0020B wanted

Does anyone have a spare 940-0020B simple signalling cable lying around?

It's one of those yes.

 

There are 2 types a smart one which you normally get with a ups and a simple one.

 

The port expanders etc... use simple signalling and I forgot to buy one.

I'll have a look, we have two here than are like 3 years old and we're moving to a new site so I think they're gonna be binned. The batteries are shot I think though thus freeing up the cables.

Make sure you get the right cable, if you use a 'standard' serial cable, it will turn the UPS off with no warning! Learnt that one tha hard way!

Yup hence why I specified the part number which will be stamped on one end.

 

A simple ups cable should also be grey.

Anyone got a supplier for APC cables like this... I've had a heck of a time finding any..

I need two serial cables for the Smart 1400 and 1500 model UPS's so if you do have spares that'd be a big help..
