looking for an ICT Systems Support Consultant within the Schools having knowledge of SIMS, AD, MCP, MCSA, support, Server, Desktop, Networking etc to be based in Lancashire on a 3 month contract.The job details are:

My client in the education sector is looking for a systems support engineer to support servers, desktop/laptops, TCP/IP switches and routers and virtual environments. Office 2003 – 2010, windows XP – 7, and various other Microsoft products. Any qualifications in the sector (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP etc.) are highly desirable. This role will involve remote support and field work.

You need to be familiar with the SIMS (School Information Management System) system, any experience with the education system is highly beneficial

We will offer immediate interview and start to the right candidate. The contract is for an initial 3 month period but is open to on-going rolling basis. The role is based in the Lancashire County, and will require the candidate to be able to travel between sites. The contract rate is £190 per day (non negotiable)

 

Any previous CRB clearance or higher is highly desirable.

Hi,

 

Would you be able to narrow down the location a little?

 

I can see that it will involve traveling to a number of sites, but wondered which part of Lancashire it would primarily be in as Lancashire is a fairly big county.
