CyberNerd Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Apparently the new Samsung Chromebooks run Ubuntu quite well. They are ARM based so I don't think it is terribly straightforward to get it installed, but they are quite cheap @£229 inc VAT

The point is you can get a better machine for the same money and with an o/S. and as pointed out you can get that refunded. Low volume brands often come from CLEVO or another big shifter, we hvae had a few badged CLEVOS and they were honestly rubish. Rob

Give them a call and see what they say. Then when they give you a price laugh at it and then bargin with them!
