Not for any illegal purposes, but I know that at some point me/my friend/whoever is going to lock themselves out of their house and I'll be able to rescue them/myself without having to pay a locksmith. That, and it just seems interesting.

That, and it just seems interesting. I like puzzles and machines that don't beat me at chess (well, I do after I chew through the restraints). Lock picking seems like putting the two together. Anyway, it's a move up from a sledgehammer.
