Hi,

Does anyone use an easy alternative to Dropbox that stores on a local NAS. Soz if its a simple question but trying to get my head round how ipads work on a M$ network.

The rep I met the other day talked about a new system that bridges Webdav to make it easier.. haven't got one to play with yet.

Sounds like WebDAV would be your solution here.

A lot of apps support it out of the box, and can be easily integrated with your current network setup :)

Sounds like you are talking about a new solution that acts as an AD to webDAV bridge that we resell then anyone using an iPad can store files in their home dirs, as it's web based you can easily download other compatible content through the browser. If you want some more info then msg me

A quick thought would be a synology NAS with their native iOS apps. The NAS supports LDAP so the user could login with their AD credentials....

This was a very quick thought so it might not be practical.
