Student Laptop Repair

Hi All

 

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a company I could pass on to a student for the replacement of a Samsung RV511 latpop screen please?

 

I sometimes look at these myself, however having fought with a Samsung before of similar style, I'm going to try and pass on this.

I use these guys to supply screens that I fit, but they also have a screen replacement service, so whilst I can't say how good / not their repair services are, I've never had any issues with them as a company.

Quick google and found this website that repairs samsung laptops Tech Centre - The Technology Repair People

 

I know there is a proper samsung repair center in london but when I called them up for a warrenty repair on one of our samsung laptops. They quoted about £100 for collection and delivery. I decided just to wait until it was out of warrenty and replace the screen as the laptop wasnt used that much.

I have had laptops repaired here - MendIT - Home under my CompuCover insurance (after I refused to let them send to there first choice company that made a hash of one) and the service has been good from them. Never parted with my own cash as of yet with them but the service for CompuCover has been excellent.

I agree about compu cover we use to have them as our insurance. cant fault them.
