Allowing Teachers the ability to change student passwords on a Vanilla Network

we are a secondary school and have recently moved away from RM CC3 to a Vanilla Windows Network (Windows 2008 R2 Servers, and windows 7 workstations). I've managed to replicate most things, but the teachers want a console and the appropriate tool to be able to reset students password.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions. I can give them elevated rights so that they can only change the password for students, but I dont really want them to logon to the server.

password control is exactly the sort of thing i'm looking for. Thank you. i'm in the process of my second attempt at making an msi for the application ( I need to deploy to 300 machines. Do you have an Msi for this, I can get my hands on easily?

if it does run off a network share, you can probably push a shortcut round to start menus with Group Policy Preferences.

I used the burconix solution and made the changes in Active Directory. Works an absolute treats and saves me so much time. Here is a page with a little more indepth instructions on how to allow users to change network passwords.
