[ipad] Meraki System Manager not able to add new apps today?

Can someone who uses Meraki System Manager have a look and see if they can add new apps today? Every time I try to search for an app to add on the web console, this is all I get:

 

 

Happens regardless of what country I pick, and however long I leave it. I last used it about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine then, and very quickly.

 

Is it just us?

Same issue here, though I haven't used Meraki for long and haven't used that page before.

Yep same issue here, also struggling to distribute a new profile that weve made. It gets pushed out and installs, but doesnt enforce any of the restrictions etc.

 

Good piece of software when it works, but my head keeps saying you get what you pay for and its free.

 

EDIT - strangely its working ok for Android Apps.

Guess I'll try again tomorrow then. I've put a support case in, but given that they are slow to respond even when you are paying them (as I do at one site as we use their wireless kit), I'm not holding my breath.

Let us know how you get on, loads of ipads to update and just bought some new ones to rollout and cant do much with out Meraki working.

Yep, I got an email replying to the support case at 9pm last night saying they had fixed it, and it's now working for us too.

Hmm. Push apps to an iOS device? How does that work then?

iOS has some mass device management built in. It's what Profile Manager on OSX uses to interface with iOS devices, but in a wholly un-Apple-like move, they allow third parties to build MDM tools as well.

 

It's far from perfect though. Although you can push apps, at the moment it generates a prompt on the device and you still have to physically accept it on each device AND type in the Apple ID password. I did read last week that iOS 6 is supposed to support silent push deployment, but Meraki certainly doesn't support it yet. However, it does let us deploy Apple VPP codes a lot more quickly than entering claim codes on every device, and I avoided having to but a Mac to run Profile Manager.
