I have named one of my wireless networks at home, "IT USED TO BE QUIET AROUND HERE" after some issues with noisy neighbours. It seems to have done the trick..... ;)

On my friend's road, someone has a wireless network called StpUrWifeShoutinOMGwhnSheOrga$m$

The son of a family friend at Cov uni named his wifi to You're Hot as a very attractive student had moved in next door. She changed the name of her wifi to You're Not shortly after....

I'll see if I can find the picture he posted on Facebork.

At uni we named our wifi in first year to THE GAME, and upstairs named theirs originally as Bastards, then changed it to 'we just lost it', and at home after the death of our original wifi router Marvin, we now have 'Marvin Mk2' and 'The Paranoid Android' under the second SSID.

I had a heatmap survey done in school as we were having issues a couple of months back. the guy had hardly started when he suddenly said - "err where's the airport... I've got an AP listed as Airport Anti-Terror Unit - appear"

Turns out its one of the houses bordering the school.

At the time it was stronger than the school kit as we still picked it up half way down the building..

Ours was changed when I pointed out that naming your SSID after your old online name which happened to be the password as well was a bad idea. We now have WuTangLAN.
