It seems to have done the trick..... On my friend's road, someone has a wireless network called StpUrWifeShoutinOMGwhnSheOrga$m$

HTCPCP Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 At uni we named our wifi in first year to THE GAME, and upstairs named theirs originally as Bastards, then changed it to 'we just lost it', and at home after the death of our original wifi router Marvin, we now have 'Marvin Mk2' and 'The Paranoid Android' under the second SSID.
cobra427col Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I had a heatmap survey done in school as we were having issues a couple of months back. the guy had hardly started when he suddenly said - "err where's the airport... I've got an AP listed as Airport Anti-Terror Unit - appear" Turns out its one of the houses bordering the school. At the time it was stronger than the school kit as we still picked it up half way down the building..
DMcGuigan Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Ours was changed when I pointed out that naming your SSID after your old online name which happened to be the password as well was a bad idea. We now have WuTangLAN.
