AWicher Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Just found out that our website might not complying with new regulations. The School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 Came into force 1st September. covering: • Contact details • Admission arrangements • Latest Ofsted report • Latest KS2 and or 3 performance data • How to access school performance tables • Info about curriculum and qualifications offered • Behaviour policy • Use of the pupil premium • SEN report • Charging and remissions policy • Statement of schools ethos and values Can find the government legislation HERE This just landed on my desk, so still looking into it but seems i will have to update the website and ahmmmm lease with office for required files...
Sylv3r Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 The document was only released in July for a September 1st deadline, it wasn't that realistic for schools. Luckily we had the majority if not all the information on ours which saved us a job. I am not sure which body is responsible for checking the school websites - ofsted possibly - not sure what happens to those schools who dont meet the legislation.
