A friend of mine has bought herself an S3 and has just asked me what the letter i symbol with a strike through it means.

 

I've not come across this one on my Desire HD. Anyone know what it is?

It just means notifications are turned off. Pull down the bar at the top and press 'notifications' to turn it on.
