Very interesting indeed. I had a glimpse of F1 IT with a little work I did for Jordan in the late 90's. Whole different boardgame now though with entire cars designed and built around what a computer says. Wouldn't mind some of their kit!

Apparently the FIA limit the resources teams can use to design and develop their cars!

I met one of my wife's cousins at a wedding recently and she had just turned down a job offer from McLaren!

 

She found the working environment too sterile and quiet...

When Sky did the F1 channel for free earlier in the Summer one of the supplemental programmes was a look around the factory where the ECUs were made all for the cars. The Beeb really have dropped the ball.

Great little clip, insane to think they are limited to that. I didnt actually consider their IT Limitations, I know they have car design, budget cap (not including driver salary). I also thought Marrussia rented out an air tunnel but obviously not?

 

I still want to sit in the Mclaren simulator.....
