Any way to use Nova-T4 after the Summer 4 2012 update? Obviously the Nova-T4 link has been removed...

Nova-T4 is still there, I just created a short cut to it from Program Files\Sims\Sims.net. I don't know (from memory) if there are plans to completely remove it, but as far as I know it is no longer supported.

Just got the following response from Capita:

 

"There are no current plans to remove Nova-T4 from the local SIMS .net folder"

Basically translates as, the installer won't install it, but we won't pro-actively remove it.

I always thought they were going to get rid of the SIMS Shortcuts bar on the left. At the moment for most users i just use it as a space filler, as it nicely centralises the rest of the homepage.

You can add a menu to that and add an External Shortcut to Nova or whatever other program you want, so it's all in one place

You can apply that patch to disable external links - aimed at hosted environments really
