mwrighty Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Hi everyone, This is my first time setting up an AD network and ive been having some problems. Ive got a HP proliant tower server running server 03, 5 windows 7 pro workstations connected to a switch into the server. Ive configured the domain and dns server, added the users and computers to the AD but when I try and login to the domain from one of the & workstations I am getting the message "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship" I have googled with little avail just wondering if anybody knows where the source of the problem is. Im quite a noob when it comes to networking so please bear that in mind, would really appreciate some help on this one.
liamvaughan Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 the best option would be to try rejoining the computer to the domain

MicrosoftTechy Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 You have joined it to the domain not just putting " DOMAIN\Username " ?? verify that all the 5 windows 7 PC's show up under the default container in AD "computers"
