46.85% Of you lovely people use Firefox when viewing the site whilst 44.23% use IE. Nice.

The remainder use Opera, Mozilla and some weird ond wonderful things.

Is Maxthon much like Avant then Diello? And if it's IE based does that mean it's not 3w compliant like IE? I used Avant here just coz IE is so scary and with doing internet banking felt it just couldn't be trusted.

I don't think you can say FF is over hyped - it only has less than 10% market share - yes - that may be overhyped! lol [but I know what you mean]

 

For me it [ff] just does the job. I keep IE 'coz sometimes I find I need it. It annoys me that MS try to dictate what web standards should be, so if I find another way to visit IE sites that I like then i'll move.

Yes, it's of the same ilk as Avant, NetCaptor etc. OK, so it's not 3w compliant, but how many websites are? They have to cater for the greated common denominator.

Vivaldi was number 31 if anyone is interested and Lynx is a no-show.

I should point out that these are just one days stats (and Tuesday is traditionally a slow day on EG anyhow for some reason!).

If you can think of anything else you'd like to see stat wise that we can compare back to 2005 please let us know. Ideally you should ressurect an ancient thread with the subject matter in to do it if possible.
